I ordered at 4:17 AM after Premier screwing up. I ordered my 256 GB Space Gray and then my wife's 256 GB Silver. Both were still 11/3. Confirmations came in fine. Then I got a processing email at 12:30 PM later that day telling me that my 11/3 date changed to shipping between 11/2-11/10 (once again, my wife getting the phone before me because of color choice, damn you Jet Black!) I called about the change and was assured there were no issues with delivery on launch day. I got a shipping notice for the Silver yesterday morning, yet my order has not moved passed processing. Every phone call was either "sure you will get it" or "we have no idea". Once I saw that there were shipping notification for orders far later than mine, I was told "That should't be happening." I was also given the sage advice from one ill-trained employee that the deliveries of the phone by 11/3 "are all based on the stock we have." Really? After thanking him for the supply-and-demand refresher course, I spoke with a manager at retentions that could not care less about the problems cause by not really putting people in queue. I was told last night by another manager that we are all put in a queue and we get it the order we placed it and then, in the same sentence said, we send the orders to the shipper and they prioritize them. I then got him to confirm that ordering early could possible be meaningless in the that scheme. Now I am glaring at my wife who got her phone on my birthday while mine is getting acquainted with Jimmy Hoffa...
