have you tried swapping sim cards? Mine didn't activate either but i just swapped the sim cards and it works fine now?
Got mine! SC 256gb! Really enjoying the new phone. Super easy to get used to no home button and Face ID has been flawless so far. Happy camper here.
Edit: FYI I did leave a FedEx release authorization slip that they did take. My wife said they never even knocked on the door or rang the bell. I refreshed my tracking once every 20 mins to check then I told her to grab it off the front doorstep. A note may work but I would use the FedEx Release Form.

My silver iPhone X has been traveling around in a truck in my area since 8am. The wait is killer.
I wonder what is up with that. I got two by UPS and one by FedEx, both trucks pulled up at the exact same time. I should have taken a picture of both of them walking down my driveway.
Did not have to sign for any of them.
got my 64gb SG been playing around with it. Pros: beautiful screen, faceID works great so far, nice size. Cons: heavier than I thought it'd be due to the glass, no Display zoom sucks for me cause my eyesight blows, Notch is so so but I know I'll get used to it.
Im assuming it’s up the drivers, I asked the fedex guy and he said they all need signatures and if no one is home then they have the option to leave at the door or tag it
After seeing 0 movement on my Shipping Nov 2-10 pre-order and reading a couple threads that some Target stores would have a few for sale this morning, I took a chance and drove to the Target a couple blocks away from my work at 8:15 this morning. Lo and behold, they still had a Silver and SG 64GB and a 256GB Silver still waiting. An hour later, I'm walking out with a Silver 64GB. Cancelled my pre-order while waiting on the gents in front of me to finish. It was to easy.

It took a couple of times on each phone. Syncing to the watch is taking a while.
Left at my apartment. No signature required.
Kind of troubling however I've never had an instance where my packages were stolen/missing.
