Still no movement on my FedEx tracking number. Called FedEx and they confirmed that the package was misplaced and they will have to start a trace. Just my luck.
My X 256 gb silver just went to “Preparing to Ship”. The estimated ship date still reads as Nov 2 -10 tho. I ordered at 7:54AM Oct 27. Baby steps...
Sounds like someone had sticky fingers and others are going to pay the price for an unaccounted for iPhone X.
Sadly but this does happen every year, sometimes it is truly just a misplaced box but in other cases it was stolen.

Yep, could be lost or stolen. Either way, I'm not getting my phone today. And FedEx does not deliver on weekends, so the earliest would be Monday at this point. Oh well.
Delivered...yay!! Had to sign for it. Normally they just leave stuff but the driver knew it was the phone...think he's getting signatures for all his deliveries today. Happy iPhone X day everyone!
Got mine delivered a few hours ago 64gb Silver,fedex did require e to sign for it. So far I’m loving it!
Based on all these orders from premier and employees being delayed and other orders placed after ours being put ahead of ours...
I ordered the same model an hour after you... hopefully I’ll see movement soon.
No exactly. I got an email for trade in instructions. I just checked my order status out of curiosity. When I did, I saw that one of my orders had changed from “in progress” to “preparing to ship”. *6737# has it as “on backorder”. From what I read on the earlier thread entries, this means that they are getting ready to ship it. -knock on wood
Apple is requiring a signature for delivery - my shipping email had a warning.
Funny cause my delivery emails said nothing about a signature and others on here have said the phones were left at the door. Oh well...just happy I was here to sign for it.
Delivered! FYI for FedEx folks that live in condo / apartment complexes, they have been told to deliver immediately to the main office. They are NOT stopping at doors and even seeing if you are home. It's because complexes have multiple iPhone orders and they are told to NOT leave them at the front doors. I had notifications set up so I saw it was delivered, walked right over to the office and my friendly complex staff were so thrilled to give me my phone and take a sneak peek. Just thought I'd let some of you know that don't live in a house.

I ordered 2 Silver 64 GB after 11 AM on Oct. 27 and they are both out for delivery. 1 from FedEx and 1 from UPS. It appears that the 256 Models were the most popular or had the lowest quantities available.

Received a call back from FedEx and they are operating under the assumption that the phone has been stolen, as it should have been put onto a delivery truck at 6:00am this morning. The local FedEx facility conducted a search and did not locate my package.
Not sure where to go from here. I guess I have to call AT&T and explain the situation, and then hope for a refund. Probably won't be getting a phone until mid-December now.
