Carrier AT&T Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

Go to the site and click on the Live map in the top left. Choose the configuration you want and then zoom the map in to the radius you'd like updates on then click Notify in the top right. You will create an account and choose the particular stores within the map view that you want updates for.

Got all that. Just need the connection piece to the Bot in Telegram.
 
So I speak with ATT and they assured me that by the miracle of God that my 11-2 to 11-10 order will change and be shipped and in my hands by 11-10. I told the woman she was too optimistic for my tastes. She just laughed and assured me again. I got her direct number and she gave me permission to call her direct if it doesn’t. Can’t wait for that phone call.

Isn't the Philippines an international call? Or was it Indonesia?

It was your post in 3518. I had already followed all the steps to getting emails as notifications. Did you follow the link in your post? It tells of a NEW beta feature in a new BOT at the site which uses the app Telegram to give you realtime TEXT notifications on your phone rather than hoping to catch an email in time. This wasn't a feature until 24 hours ago.

Thought you followed your own link and knew how to use the new feature. That's all. If you don't know how to use the new Telegram feature.. no big. Thx anyway.
 
On my way to work this morning I checked apples app and they had a At&t 256gb SB available and I jumped on it! I had a order I placed on Monday at an at&t for a Dec 18th delivery which I'll still be keeping till I can find another one on the apple store app.

I am glad that I am not the only one who feels like there is a black hole that some orders are in. I called earlier today and they actually told me to call Apple with my AT&T number - that they should be able to give me shipping information. Ha! The Apple rep
And I both had a good laugh with that one. My latest call with the EComm department, they told me they are ‘escalating ‘ my order and I will be on the next shipment of 11/17 - 11/22. Great - I woke up in the middle of the night to have my phone 3 weeks later.... and again no one can cancel my order until I receive the phone. So, frustrating!

I pre ordered with a date of Dec 7-14th. Checked my Apple store app at 6am sharp this morning and saw that they had a 256gb SG at my local store. Walked in and out in 20 min.
 
This has probably been brought up, but I traded in my 6+ on last year's AT&T Next trade in promo to get a 7+. From a convo with an AT&T rep, it looks like there's no way to keep the credits on my monthly bill for the next 12 months and upgrade to the iPhone X. Any ideas of how to upgrade to the iPhone X and keep the credits or am I SOL?

There won’t be a way to keep those credits. You signed up for the promo for the 7 Plus for 12 months , that technically put you into a contract.

AT&T won’t transfer credits from one phone to the next

(AT&T rep here)
 
Thanks for the heads up, looks like I’ll return the X and hang onto the 7+ until the promo is up.

Do like I did and upgrade a second line if you have one. If not, I guess you really are SOL. lol
 
Set an iStockNow stock alert and it just popped. Got my SG 256 ready for pick up tomorrow at a local Apple Store. Beats waiting until December... Would suggest giving that a try if you are stuck.

EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO ME. Ended up getting to choose between two different stores and either space gray or silver. went with silver still. 256gb! im hyped. thank you for everyone who suggested doing the istocknow.com. it really helped. now i don't have to worry about that 11/2-11/10 BS.

AND I GET MY PHONE BEFORE MY BROTHER DOES (MINE at 10 AM at Apple store, his is through ups probably at like 5)
 
For those that cancelled their orders with ATT and went with Apple, after I pick up my phone, is it ready to go or do i have to go to att to activate my phone?

Im doing a monthly plan with my phone provider, would Apple do that and work with my provider or no? Or do they have their own monthly plan thing
 
OK. Confession time. My 10/27 10:37am Silver 256 preorder just went to "preparing to ship". I did not receive an email notification, only discovered it by relentlessly doing a status check.

I’m holding my breath until I get a "your order has shipped" email with a tracking number. A 11-10 delivery is looking increasingly likely.

I’ll still be checking this thread to root for my 11/2-11/10 brethren get their propers.
