EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO ME. Ended up getting to choose between two different stores and either space gray or silver. went with silver still. 256gb! im hyped. thank you for everyone who suggested doing the istocknow.com. it really helped. now i don't have to worry about that 11/2-11/10 BS.

AND I GET MY PHONE BEFORE MY BROTHER DOES (MINE at 10 AM at Apple store, his is through ups probably at like 5)

I’d love to get my phone from the Apple store but 2 things

1. I constantly check the Apple store and it says there are no phones within a 12 store radius. (Not like I’d be able to jump on it anyways , closest Apple store is an hour and a half drive)
2. My job had a good promo that if you preordered the X with them , you got $100 in store credits . So if I canceled the preorder, I’d have to return my accessories. Don’t wanna do that haha

Im doing a monthly plan with my phone provider, would Apple do that and work with my provider or no? Or do they have their own monthly plan thing

How soon were you able to cancel/reserve. I just saw that tomorrow there would be some available in town, I don't want to risk the cancel and then not be able to do the reservation.

Well, I just had some pop up in my neck of the woods. Being late at night, call center isn't open so went online and gambled and canceled through att app. Went right over to Apple Store app and was able to complete the pickup request for tomorrow morning and the upgrade was available no problem. Now at least I don't have to continue to get passed at the Nov. 2 - Nov. 10 blackhole issue.

OK. Confession time. My 10/27 10:37am Silver 256 preorder just went to "preparing to ship". I did not receive an email notification, only discovered it by relentlessly doing a status check.

I’m holding my breath until I get a "your order has shipped" email with a tracking number. A 11-10 delivery is looking increasingly likely.

I’ll still be checking this thread to root for my 11/2-11/10 brethren get their propers.

I feel like the 11/2-11/10 group have all gotten closer in this ordeal lol

Well, I just had some pop up in my neck of the woods. Ha. I'll wait until I'm closer to the delivery date 11/15-11/22 to try and risk it. Thanks for the answer though.

It was your post in 3518. I had already followed all the steps to getting emails as notifications. Did you follow the link in your post? It tells of a NEW beta feature in a new BOT at the site which uses the app Telegram to give you realtime TEXT notifications on your phone rather than hoping to catch an email in time. This wasn't a feature until 24 hours ago.

Thought you followed your own link and knew how to use the new feature. That's all. If you don't know how to use the new Telegram feature.. no big. Thx anyway.

Lots of new stock in Apple Stores in Philly area this morning. Sadly (though still cool) - simultaneous to me getting many iStockNow.com notifications this am about in-store stock.. I got my shipping confirmation that my 11/20-11/27 phone will be here next Wednesday (15th).

So I'm pretty sure I've heard a bunch of you say that once the phone is in "shipped" status.. you can't cancel (with Apple Store - sorry - I jumped threads - my orig order is via Apple online). Right?

Though I’m sure you’ll get it by 3pm, just know that commit time now for FedEx Standard Overnight to a residential is 8pm. (The 3pm is commitment time for a business)

If it’s close or a little past don’t freak out LOL it’ll be there. Just depends on couriers route (number of delivery stops, etc) for the day!
