Got my tracking! Woo!

I received a tracking number for my husband’s phone (via FedEx). I ordered his at 3:07am EST on the 15th. I had to go to AT&T to order mine, which was around 1pm EST on the 15th and mine still says delivery 10/6-10/14! Ugh!!! Wish I could take his phone, but I don’t want the black one. I ordered the gold.

You may have luck just going into an Apple Store or AT&T store and seeing if they have your model in stock. Then you can cancel your order and get that one.

Got the tracking numbers for mine. All 3 UPS Next Day Air, status is shipping label created, delivery 9/22, appears to be coming from Memphis, TN. Happy dance!

In the past I've only received my new phones from FedEx and they didn't require a signature. Anybody know about UPS?

My local AT&T store already received their shipments of iPhone 8 phones. Funny thing is my buddy who works there told me they have had almost zero interest from customers about the phone. Instead, everyone is asking about the X.

No surprise there....

This is the first year that it's come via FedEx for me. Usually I get UPS and end up going to the distribution center and picking it up. Well, this will be fun lol

I suspect the vast majority of advanced orders for the 8’s will arrive on time Friday.

Seems like our phones are coming from all over the place. The last two years I've ordered through AT&T and the phone was shipped FedEx out of Fort Worth. This year I ordered through AT&T again and the phone is being shipped UPS out of Kentucky

What the heck??? Mine says Oct 6th as well, but no tracking #! Looks like my husband is the only lucky one in the house since his is coming tomorrow. I told him I wanted to go into the store and get my phone and cancel my order, but he doesn’t want to deal with waiting for a refund on my initial order. Grrrrrr!!!

Wow! I just ordered an 8 plus 256 GB yesterday around 5pm PDT and I got a shipment notification this morning. Coming out of Ft. Worth via FedEx.

Am I able to pre-order the iPhone X thorough Apple with at&t next every year plan? Since I have to trade the phone back to at&t do I have to pre-order through their site?

Figured I'd ask this here before talking with AT&T and getting four different answers. I traded in my iPhone 6 last year for the promo that gave me a free iPhone 7 with AT&T Next Every Year. How it works is they "charge" me the installment payment each month but then immediately credit it so I end up paying no device charge. If I were to upgrade to the 8 or the X would I still get that credit or does it disappear?

The credits will stop if you make any upgrade changes to that line. Like most people you probably have 13-14 monthly credits remaining so this could be up to 14 months*$27.08 = $379.17 credit you would lose.
I have 3 lines stuck in this situation so to help wait it out another year I got all 3 the new 10.5" iPad Pro with pencils and so far no complaints.
