I’m in the same boat as you, delivery before 8pm but I leave for work at 2pm and don’t get home til 1am. Hoping it comes before or it will be stolen for sure.
We've had a few robberies over the past couple months which is very uncommon in my area (breaking into cars at night/during the day, going in open windows, etc.). Most of the neighbors aren't home or outside watching, so anyone can take the box with no witness. I'm sure it would be fine if left, but I'd rather have it safe in the house or garage
This is why I hold at facility. Most facilities open at 7.. plenty of time to pick up before work.
I was originally going to do that or schedule a delivery window, but for some reason, I wasn't able to with this shipment. I've never had an issue when AT&T ships via UPS, but I guess FedEx won't allow me to do that
Boy, it sure feels nice to be back home (on iPhone) after a year-long experiment with Android. Phone was delivered a few min after 2pm Eastern. Got it activated and set up, and getting my Apple Watch (series 1 that I bought back from the person I sold it to when I got the Android) set up and updated now.
Delivered! It’s so pretty! Thanks for hanging out this year. See y’all next time!
Love love my new phone. Question: Did anybody receive anything in the box in which to return the old Next phone. All I got was a shipping label. No protection for the old phone.
No I didn’t either, I saved the box for the phone I’m returning. Will put it in that and then in the shipping box the new phone came in.
I always save the box from my previous phone. Then I slap the shipping label over the label on the box that the new phone was shipped in. Just did this with my husband’s phone that came today. Voila!
I have to wait until Oct 6 for my 8 plus gold 256 to be shipped. I went to my local AT&T store and they said they had no gold 8plus 256GB shipped to them. Only 16 of the 64 GB. Ugh
Got my 8 gold...connected to WiFi, and not it says unable to activate because “activation server is temporarily unavailable”. WTF...is this an ATT or Apple issue? I tried googling, but not much help.

Yes. First couple of times it said to try again later. Said the activation servers were busy. Tried a couple of times and now it’s just sitting there spinning. This has always been a quick procedure so I’m hoping it’s not a problem.
Same here. I was expecting a box similar to what Gazelle sent me in the past (perfect phone-sized box, with foam and a cutout in the foam for the phone). Good thing I always keep original boxes for electronics until I no longer have the product that came in it.
Yes, you get instructions and a shipping label. It’s all emailed to you. I’ve ordered my last 3 phones through Apple with AT&T Next. Just send it back in the box the new phone comes in. No big deal, just requires a trip to the post office so you can get a receipt.
I just got my tracking number! I can't wait for Friday!
