Same boat, but mine just changed to preparing to ship but still December date
Eastern time, Space gray 256. Originally gave me a launch date delivery then changed to December 4-18. I’m a “Premier” customer lol

Mine is slowly making it's way to Florida. Spent all day yesterday in Texas, was in Jackson, MS this morning and departed at around 10:40 in the east. My hopes of it getting here before Thursday are starting to fade. At least it is on the way.
Same boat, same order time (actually, 2-1/2 hours earlier), same phone, same estimate. AT&T rep zero help.
Same here, but 11/3 order due between Dec 11th and Dec 18th. I imagine most of the backlog is the orders from 10/27. Once most all of those clear, those of us that ordered afterwards will start to speed up. Apple is quoting 3-4 weeks and that would be a 5 week wait time for me, but none of these dates are really accurate at this point, just estimated.
Delivered today. Good luck to all still waiting. See you next year.
just a heads up certain models of phones are really backed up. SG 256 is probably the slowest model shipping out to people, either because they didn’t expect too many of them to sell or idk. fastest phones going out are silver models though, that’s what I’ve seen in general.
I also believe that Apple overestimated people that were going to be buying Iphone 8 and still have manufacturing capacity consumed by making Iphone 8 when there is little demand for those. An article I read said that Foxconn/Hon Hai would be cutting production of Iphone 8 to make room for the 10 but that wouldn't happen until Q1 2018.
