makes sense, i guess they thought only enthusiast would go with the iPhone X.

I think it was a dumb strategy on Apple's part, basically this was like releasing a 7s (which is what the 8 was) at the same time as the 10. And you only have so much manufacturing capacity in China to build both models. If Jobs was still at the helm he never would have done this.

How long did it take for your phone to be scanned into the system? Mine is still only saying a label was created and it wasn't in the system yet.
 
Anyone else have this happen:

If you go to ATT.com and "Check my order", enter your order number. It comes up "In Progress" with the dates. If you then refresh that screen it then says "Preparing to Ship" with same dates.

Is this just me?

Yes, that was happening to me. Now it has officially changed to preparing to ship, but it did that weird thing for about a week.
 
Anyone shipping with an order date past Oct 27th yet? Most of what I've read here and the Apple thread is still wading through Oct 27th orders which is where most of the pre-orders were from.
 
Every year, either MacRumors or Discord preorder folk are like my support group family.... yall help me get through this torture every year lol.... because Im a sadist and I secretly enjoy it lol....

Received a text it's being shipped and delivered tomorrow! Had an estimate of 11/17 - 11/24. Ordered 10/29 @ 5:00PM Space Gray 64 GB.
 
Mine is also out for delivery today.. changed back from Nov17 to Nov 15 in UPS app this am (after originally saying 11/15 for 5 days). What a crazy roller coaster ride. Ordered 3:11am 10/27.. orig delivery group 11/17-11/24.
 
So are they not shipping from China? I have a UPS tracking number, label was created but hasn't left yet. Where are they coming from? Mine says Nov 24 but I am hoping that is an overestimate from Apple

Mine is coming from Texas. Assuming it arrived there from China.

They all start in ZhengZhou, China. Then move through either Shanghai, CN or Incheon, KR on their way to Anchorage Alaska - then on to Louisville KY - then to your house.
