Proof. Here's what happened.

1. around 11:40pm PST att's website put me into an 'iconicevent' queue system
2. a few minutes later it prompted me for my att username/pw
3. i logged in, selected my device details and submitted the order. silver 256.
4. less than 1 minute later i had confirmation email w/ a URL starting with https://www.att.com/checkmyorder/. that page confirmed my order and delivery of Nov 3rd.

Nobody is trolling. Several of us have posted confirmation status pages from att's checkstatus page. Refresh the forums. Could this be att's way of grabbing some extra pre-orders??? I hope they don't cancel them.
 
Same. 2 orders placed. One on the iPad through the app, the other on the site on the MacBook. Back to bed.
 
any advantage with apple upgrade program vs att next? Seems like cost difference is just applecare. I was set on going through apple bc i have had best luck with app, but since i was able to order through att 5 min ago, I think ill skip apple...
 
I also got an order in on ATT web a few minutes before midnight PST. I was in the ATT web queue for at least 2 hours prior.

My only issue is I think I did Space Grey instead of Silver for my wife but I'm not sure and can't see any way to check the actual color or size of what I ordered. Not a huge issue though!
