Carrier AT&T Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

So I totally meant to go with Apple this year but ATT loaded first right at 1200. After screwing around with some credit card issues I finally got the confirmed order at 1215PST for a 256gb SG.

Hope they do deliver on Nov 3 as promised.
 
I’m leaving both orders open for now. I have an AT&T order open with a nov 3 delivery and .com order open with a nov 17-24 th delivery date. Did that many people decide not to do carrier sites this year?

I finally got mine ordered, but looking at the confirmation email, it looks like it knocked me off of AT&T Next every year and onto the every other year plan. Is this something AT&T will let me fix later or am I screwed for next year?
 
I actually had a harder time getting on here to post than I did submitting my pre-orders via AT&T Premier.

Premier let me in within the first 2 minutes. I was able to order 2 256 GB units, one Space Grey and one silver. Both show ETA of Nov 3rd. Confirmation emails confirm ETA as well.

Here’s to the start of a stressful but entertaining week. Can’t wait to see the first “Its shipped” threads and watching people checking their bank account for charges and seeing people track FedEx and UPS flights.

I was wondering the same thing.
Also, whether the ATT model was not as popular as people going for the Verizon or TMobile models.

This is my fifth preorder with ATT and have received as promised on launch date. The times I got a later delivery date I got the phone earlier than promised. Very weird the date hasn't slipped yet so not sure what to make of it. Unless most people went via apple.

Mine too. I checked that as soon as Ingot my confirmation email and checked the order status on ATT. I know it’s just an authorizations and will fall off but it makes me hopeful that the 11/3 date will hold.

I just ordered one through AT&T and they say delivery by Nov. 3rd. I am not too sure about that but we'll see. My Apple order says delivery from Nov. 17-24...
 
I’m guessing the reason ATT still shows Nov 3 is that many folks had trouble with the website for a longer time thus resulting in fewer orders at the beginning. I think the dates will start slipping soon and I’m extremely hopeful that we’ll see our 11/3 estimates delivered on time.

i got the confirmation email
but realized i didn't update my current address on file
and its going to an old address
 
After a complete fail with Apple.com & Apple Store App, I was able to get (2) Silver 256GB on order with AT&T. As of right now they both say Nov 3rd delivery. We will see if that holds.
 
Ordered more than hour ago still no confirmation email :-/. Went thought it so fast I barely remember any numebers
 
Was trying to order another for significant other and shipping for the silver 256 is still November 3.

u placed 2 different orders for the same phone number. I have an apple order for delivery on 17th to 24th. wondering if I can try ordering on att to get it on the 3rd
 
It took me about 8 minutes to get into Premier. I ordered a Silver 256 and got a confirmation email a minute later, my cc is charged but no ship date? Anyone else get a confirmation email without a ship date?

I bought mines out, I doubt they care if you are paying for the whole thing. If you enroll in their ATT next program or IUP it might be a problem.
