Hello everyone! I was able to snag a Silver 256 GB phone with a Launch day delivery! I am using AT&T Next upgrade from my 7 Plus and it says my trade in is required. Does anyone know how this works? Do I take my phone in to an AT&T store after I get my X? Or does AT&T mail me something to send it to them? And surely I don’t need to like take it today and be without a phone for a week? Thanks for your help, I love this place!

They’ll send you a prepaid label to mail it back. You have 14 days from the day you receive your new phone to send it in

Thanks so much for that! I was worried if I didn’t take it in like today I wouldn’t get my new phone lol.
 
I just got the second set of emails for all 3 of mine. 256gb silver with date of 11/3. No range like I have seen with some.
 
Ordered from AT&T Premier; 12:31am; Space Gray 256GB. Received one confirmation email immediately after ordering. The order status link in that email says: "Delivery by date - November 3, 2017." Have NOT received a second confirmation email like some people.
 
When I log in to see the order, it’s says the same. But underneath it says “keep a lookout for an email with the exact shipping date.” This is what scares me. I don’t mind it if the date is between 11/2 - 11/10 like is says. I just don’t want it to change from that time line to later on.

Pay attention to the materials inside the shipping box that you receive your phone in. There should be return information including a shipping label inside that box. If not, AT&T care should be able to email you a label to return your phone. You have 10 days upon receipt of the new device to have the old device back in the mail to AT&T to avoid being charged.
 
This is what I got from an att chat representative when I asked what date will my order ship since I don’t have a exact date. They says my order should be shipped 10/29 or 10/30. Does anyone think this could be a 11/3 delivery date if it shipped any of those day?

I'm sure if it does ship on that day, that you'll get it on launch. The only thing that bothers me is that his name is "Benjoe".
 
Instead of mailing back the trade-in phone, can we return it directly to an att store? I’d rather do this to ensure they get it.

They will mail you a return label, usually you use the same shipping box your phone came in. Reset your old phone, slap a return sticker on it and thats it. :)
 
I got both emails and the text. Hopefully that means I’m good for launch. Now to figure out how to get on next 24 vs the next 30 I somehow managed to pick

I did the same thing... after I ordered it I noticed it was on the next 30, but I want the next 24.. I figured when I get it in my hands I can call them or swing into the ATT store. But to be honest I swear I dont remember seeing an option to choose the 30 or 24 plan....
 
My company ordered my iPhone X 256GB Silver through Premier. Looks like our phone admin placed the order at 12:32 PM ET. I have an estimated ship date of 11/2-11/10.

I was surprised to see the store open so early, was planning on ordering from apple for my wife's phone, but At&t website opened about 15 minutes early for me. Received both emails, both stating 11/3 delivery date, so hopefully that is correct.

I don’t remember either. It was almost an hour into trying and at that point I don’t know if I overlooked or didn’t have the option. I will do the same. I don’t want to mess with anything right now. Will pay it off if I can’t make the change.
 
I guess I got lucky! Space gray 64gb at 2:56AM central time. Fingers crossed this person wasn't pulling my leg!

you'll be fine, as long as you use the tracking label provided to you, and make note of the tracking number, you'll be fine.

I don't remember seeing an option to select the 24 plan either. I did a support chat earlier with AT&T and they told me that when I receive the phone, I should call them at 800-331-0500 before I activate it and tell them that I want to be on the AT&T Next every year plan and they can switch me over and assist me in activating the phone.
 
Damn no love for silver since I got the silver 256GB at 2:30am with a Nov. 3 ship date. I even had to cancel my first order I made at midnight since I rushed ordered and chose Next instead of paying in full.
