Yeah, I know. My order shows EXPECTED delivery day as 11/03. So all I can do now is drink beer and cross my fingers that I get a shipping email this upcoming week.
And I have Super Mario Odyssey to tie me over.
Dont get hopes too high. Someone a couple pages back got a delay email.
12:30 PM ET. So, yeah, probably a lot later than most of you. So perhaps not a surprise my order is delayed. But, I didn't have a choice. My company has to order my phone (but I still get discount pricing!).
Yeah, I can see that then maybe. I noticed the dates have been slipping farther back each hour.
Not only that, I ordered two 256GB and was presented with the offer to pay my taxes (I have Next) via adding the charges to my next bill! That was a first for me.
So I ordered two phones from ATT And didn’t get confirmation so I went ahead and order one more through Apple website using same phone numbers. Now I got confirmation for all 3 phones but I need only two. So are they going to cancelled out themselves or what should I do? anyone has that issue?

I ordered my X 256 Silver around 2:30am CT and got 11/3.
I did not get an emails, forgot to write down the order confirmation number and it did not show up on my account. Around 6am this morning it did show up in my account and it still says "In Progress" and delivery by date 11/3.
My credit card was charged.

If you cancel an AT&T order, how long before the upgrade via AT&T Next is put back onto your account?
This is interesting... I've talked to a few agents, they all say regardless of the shipping date on the AT&T site, you will get the phone on launch day. I inquired about in store availability in new york city and they said just order it online, they have plenty of stock.

Edit: For what it's worth, I've found that Amazon gives the best value of the "trade in" type sites. For my unlocked iPhone 6 (grey, 64gb), Amazon is offering $140, vs. more like $120-$125 at AT&T, Gazelle, Best Buy, etc. Apple would give me $145 but I'd rather have the credit at Amazon than the Apple Store.

Second email? I got an email from AT&T at about 7 am saying I’m “good to go.” I ordered at about 3:15 eastern time. Are we supposed to get a second email?
It doesn't make a lot of sense, does it? I'm thinking either the Nov. 3 dates won't hold, or they will hold because every post on the internet said to use the Apple store app. I would have used the Apple store app if given the choice, but I couldn't because of my business account. Here's to hoping I was forced into the best option! I ordered 3 from 12:30ish to 12:50ish and all say 11/3.
