The AT&T orders actually ship 2 times. First a bulk shipment from the Factory to an AT&T Distribution Center and from there the bulk order(s) are broken down, scanned into inventory and ready to fulfill orders. This is when you can begin searching UPS and FedEx looking for things like your phone number or you can wait for the email from AT&T with your tracking information. Don't expect those until Thursday afternoon (overnight shipping for Friday delivery).

AT&T primarily ships via FexEx and Apple primarily uses UPS and yes there are exceptions.

Unfortunately, here in Puerto Rico they always used USPS :/.

Hope they can change this year because of Hurricane Maria.

USPS are running with a month of delay.

Ordered silver 64gb at 7:30, went to prepare for shipping yesterday delivery 11/3.

Also space gray 64 gen ordered at 5:30, still processing shipping date of 11/2 - 11/10.

Anyone with those shipping dates see movement yet?

so I called the at&t ecom department and they see a 'preparing to ship status' as compared to the 'in process' status I see on the checkmyorder page. csr told me to just wait for the email/status change containing my tracking number. maybe there is a delay in updating the checkmyorder page?

What is their number?
 
They all usually ship with Fedex Next Day. Even if the status is Preparing to Ship, it won't move to shipped until Wed-Thurs. So if you are still in progress, you still have plenty of time to go to preparing to ship.

I wonder if it’s done by region that way because I’ve never had a UPS delivery it’s always been FedEx
 
For all of those who had unauthorized order cancellations and you want e-Comm to reinstate your original delivery window:

Give them 24 hours to process the order and reach out to them again just to be sure. I followed up in chat with a rep this morning, giving him the employee ID of the rep that helped me on the phone yesterday, and he saw all the necessary notes on my account and said the department was working on it but the system still hadn't applied the override. I am sure they're backlogged with these requests because of all the cancellations they sent out with no customer acknowledgement or permission.

I will update you guys tomorrow if anything changes.

I am also unable to change the status of my current order (cancel it) so I'm taking that as a good sign. My previous order stayed in a state of being able to be cancelled.
 
When you are logged into ATT.com and go to check my order, is anyone's order not automatically appearing unless you enter the order number? Why would it not be already tied to my account? When I put the order number and zip, I see it there with preparing to ship and Nov 3 date.

Edit: nevermind, even though i thought i was logged in I dont think I was. if i log out and back in then i see the order there.

This happens to me as well; it’s sporadic but annoying.
 
Att is bugging out. I got my order and it said the ship date was 11/3. Mind you I had trouble ordering from Apple.com. So I got to att late, and still got that date. Today I get the good to go email and the date changed. I immediately called att. The rep told me she sees the December date. Although the website was still giving me a 11/3 date. She told me to call e commerce. E commerce tells me not to worry. She sees in her system
The ship date is 11/2. At this point I’m just gonna wait it out.

It's the CSR's that specialize in the ATt website orders. Though I find CSR's from Apple, ATT, etc., don't help much. People talk about getting a cancelled order reinserted in the correct place in the queue, but if the order is truly cancelled they usually put in a new one and tell you they will work on a delivery date adjustment that never happens Just a generalization and my own opinion. It may work out for some.

i'm in the same situation you're in except mines still says december 4 -18 and i haven't received any updates about the phone status since accepting terms and conditions. No one I've spoken has been able to see any date other than the dec 4 - 18.
 
I ordered 7:30 Alaska time and got a shipping window from 2-11 November. My order is still in progress. Hoping for a 3 November delivery, but I’m not too worried about it. I chose the silver 256 to replace my beloved 7 plus gold 128.

This has been happening to me. Sometimes it shows when I’m logged in and sometimes I have to manually input order number.
