My Silver 256gb, ordered 10/27/2017 at 3:29:13 a.m. ET, just changed to Preparing to Ship.

FWIW, I’m in the Los Angeles area. Still waiting on two more Silver 256gb ordered a few minutes after this one.

Does anyone know why the shipping windows on the AT&T site keep moving up but the shipping window on my order never has?
 
Well I got an updated email with a new shipping date but the window is still not Nov 2-10. Calling e-Comm again now to verify that they are still honoring my full reinstatement.

Was it just a regular agent in E-Com that gave you this reinstatement? They keep telling me they can't move my new order up to Nov. 3 even though they canceled the original.
 
I ordered 1 iPhone X from Apple with 11/3 delivery and 1 iPhone X from AT&T.
With the same date for delivery. My Apple order has showed up in UPS My choice.
Has anyone had there AT&T iPhone X showed up on UPS or FedEx?
I have not oredered from AT&T in a few years. I don’t remember if they use fedex or ups.

Have had Nov 3rd date since order.

Update: *6737# has changed to back order status. In years passed this was the indication just before shipping information was provided.

Still shows “Preparing to Ship” on ATT.com

This is true. Our ATT ordered phones are already here in the US at ATT distribution. They will start applying tracking numbers to them soon, usually 1 day or next day shipping. Apple orders ship direct from China.

ordered 2 256gb iPhone x silver phones, the one I ordered 4 minutes later than the first just switched to preparing to ship ... really not sure what the method is for this .. hopefully the phone I ordered earlier switches to preparing to ship soon.

That sounds so contradictory, at least to me. Why would one need to go to a retail location to resolve an e-commerce problem? Did your delivery date actually change with that? If so good but the process sounds strange.

It's not contradictory. My suggestion is simply because you need backup in these situations. AT&T is deliberately giving customers the run-around and having an employee that knows to ask the right questions is helpful.

My delivery date did change and I'm expecting another change after the one I received.

If it worked out all is well then. Company bureaucracy is strange.
