Just ordered one and I got a notification it’s getting ready to ship, but AT&T’s site is saying not till late Nov.

I just ordered one also. I have two family accounts, one with AT&T and another with Verizon. With Verizon I am supposed to have my sister's phone delivered on 11/3 but I still haven't been charged, yet with AT&T I have a delivery window of Nov. 27 to Dec. 4 and I was already charged. Weird.

I guess I’m the lone one here that got reversed. I see everyone here is going to ship mode? Mine got sent back over a month. Ordered at 5:10AM Friday.

Well that was a waste, They had me cancel my order and when they went to redo the order the price went up by over 600.00 dollars . so I just went online on my end and redid the order. Now my ship date is Nov 27-Dec 4. My first order was November 3rd. Hopefully, this doesn't get canceled.

hmm weird, I'm curious of why it went up $600...?
 
Just ordered one and I got a notification it’s getting ready to ship, but AT&T’s site is saying not till late Nov.

Before my status changed to prepare to ship, I did an ATT chat with a representative and they said it would either be shipped out Nov 1 or 2

I have no clue . Online it was one price the entire time.so I just redid it online. But when I did it online they didn't ask for an id number though. Not sure if they asked you for one though.
Interesting, they told me it would take up to 24hours for me to see the ship date over ride, so ill guess we'll see.

I mean it's not the original ship date that I had but I'll stick with it since its becoming a hassle. I guess that's why T-Mobile is taking a lot of their customers. Less calling to do there.
 
Probably guessing I’m the only 256 silver with an somewhat early order confirmation of 3:07am eastern with no movement and in progress still.

That's false. Nothing on AT&T take up to 24 hours for update. That's the first lie of them. Their system are automatically. Just take minutes.

Had a problem last week with my actual iPhone and more than 4 agents told me that I have to wait 24 hours to the system get updated. Spoke with a manager and he told me than nothing on the system take 24 hours.

Only things that takes hours is when a Department has to answer for something.

I think that's what is happening though. The online orders/e-Comm department is scrambling because they have completely screwed over a huge amount of customers and now they have to fix their mistakes or else people will jump ship.

I was on the verge of pulling out of their service before yesterday evening. There is no excuse for taking action on a customer's account and doing things without their permission, and the rep in the store helped me make that clear to the e-Comm department. My account is all kinds of notated with actions that AT&T is supposed to take with my current order. I will be proactively following up with them until they fulfill their promises. It's really as simple as that.
 
I just noticed that all the device preorders for all colors and size were at Dec 4-18 for preorder and they all got moved up. Not those that preordered already, just the dates if you were to preorder now. AT&T must of overestimated preorders and dates.

Welcome to my life as well, but Steve the online chat rep i'm talking to just told me EComm as well as them are not allowed to override ship dates, LOL. He's getting ahold of EComm for me so i can let them have it :)

Unfortunately ATT is far from being ready when it comes to upgrading your iPhone either by App or Online
There’s nobody to speak to because of the heavy call volume which they create having such a poor App

Ordered a silver at 5:18am with delivery date nov-3 just went in to preparing for shipment

has anyone who had their order canceled received the good to go email before it was canceled? i believe most orders are being canceled due to an error where the terms and conditions email was never sent. if it isn't agreed to then they cancel. i had a notification in my att app that said i had to call them or else my order was going to be canceled and it had to do with me not receiving the terms and conditions.

I remember there was three check marks before to place the order. Did you see it?

This is most definitely what happened in my case now that I know my CC company had nothing to do with it.

There was no T&C email sent, nor was there an email or notification sent for me to call them before they cancelled my order. Just a lot of AT&T system errors that aren't the customer's problem.

yeah i don't think i had that when i was checking out. when i called the rep sent me a link. i put my phone number and zip in and then it brought up the terms and conditions. i accepted them and then things went back to normal.

i didn't get an email or anything. i only noticed because when i logged into the att site, there ws a red notification in the top right corner that said to call or my order would be canceled. kind of a crappy way to handle it versus actually emailing someone and telling them.
