What time did you order and when did it change? I'm hoping when I wake up tomorrow mine will have movement..

I forget but it was early in the morning before dawn. I spent a good bit of time fighting with At&t's ****** website. I was ready to order when it went on sale...

No movement on my 3:17AM EST order Silver 256GB, still in-progress. 3 Reps have guaranteed me I will be getting it on the 3rd so i'm just going to relax and stop checking lol.
 
I was on a cruise ship in the Caribbean and ordered via ATT about 3:20am EST. I got the email about contacting them or else they'll cancel my order. No idea what the issue was, but it says Nov 3 delivery date. Showing "In Progress." I don't feel good about this. I ordered through Apple and got a delivery date of Dec XX, will cancel that one if ATT comes through.

When I talked to a sales rep she told me all phones with dates 11/2 - 11/10 are back ordered and hopefully we might be getting them by 11/10 But most likely after the date promised
How would one sales representative know the status for thousands of phones even ordered at 3am? Take that with a grain of salt
 
256 SG ordered at 4:11am ET. My online tracking still says "In Progress" for 11/2-11/10, but the "Good to Go" e-mail (that I didn't get until Sat afternoon) said 12/4-12/18. I called AT&T and they said the trust online vs e-mail, but who knows.

Anyone else get a similar e-mail?

What I will do is escalate the issue to our specialist so our ICU team will coordinate to the shipper to expedite the delivery so you will be able to get it soonest. They will get in touch with you within 24 hours (the latest) to update you of any progress. Please know that we are not taking this sitting down and we have your best interest as heart. Would you like to be contacted via email, sms, or call?

I will personally monitor the progress of this case form time to time so to ensure that you will be able to get the new phone on 11/03 or the soonest time possible. So you do not have to check for its status again.
 
Preordered Silver 256gb on Friday at around 7:40 am, still processing with date of 11/2-11/10, decided to chat with agent and she said I should have it by end of day 11/2 or morning 11/3 and said she is expecting hers on 11/2 as well ‍♂️

From the REP i talked to she said all ordered placed on the 27th would be delivered on the 3rd. I am a premier account if that matters.

So I just got this text message right now.
Yet when I go Into order status still says in progress.

3:07am eastern 256 silver 11/3 delivery date

Royal Caribbean? The only Cruise Company I know that has he necessary bandwidth for this.

Have you contacted them? I’ve gotten those on past orders and if you don’t contact them your order will be canceled,they usually give 7 days for you to contact then cancel the order but even if it says in progress believe me it won’t ship they will cancel it if they don’t hear from you so give them a call usually it’s to verify your identity or something so if you haven’t contacted them I would call as soon as possible so you keep your nov 3rd delivery date.
 
Ordered 256GB Silver at ~9:337AM EDT after AT&T canceled one of my two earlier orders. Estimated shipping window of 11/2-11/10. Still sitting at "in progress" status.
 
Is that is an AT&T delivery thing? This is the first year I have pre-ordered from AT&T but for all previous iPhones through Apple I have been able to pre-signed no problem.
I don't know when it started, at least five years ago, but Apple the shipper requires a delivery attempt at the delivery address before they allow changes to the shipping directions.

It makes it harder to fraud the delivery and that's easier to do then you'd like to know.

Sorry, what I had asked if orders with shipping dates of 11/2 - 11/10 were actually backordered as someone else on this thread said she was told. That was the response I got.
