It's not so much me not getting my phone today, it's the fact that I stayed up late like many of you and ordered as soon as possible and got shafted.

I don't mind waiting for a product, but the fact I could have slept in woke up the next day and had a better chance of getting my order today is what sucks.
 
Well, my buddy, who order his a few hours after mine, and had estimated shipping for mid October through November, is suddenly getting both of his today. Mine is still showing Oct 2-13 estimated ship, even though I had my order in 40 minutes after going live. :mad:

When did he find out? This morning? Time?
 
AT@T stores have basically NO 6 plus phones. My area had 1, and I've seen that many report the same thing. So that might be true. My only concern is that I see no charge to my card since the pre auth was lifted. If no charge, then there's no phone being shipped.

When i ordered my wifes note 3 3 weeks ago we didnt get charged for the phone unti the 2nd day after she had it

He suddenly found out, as in THIS morning? I don't buy that. Nobody else has been getting any breakthroughs this morning. Last of the "last minute" shipping confirmations was yesterday.

Well you're going to have to. Last night we were in the same boat. This morning he's in another boat.
 
I'm at the ups customer center in Austin picking up my wife's 6. My 6+ is in same boat as yall. Just watched 30 trucks leave this place and the drivers were all talking about this being hell day.
 
I know it's a stretch, but the day isn't even over yet. Aren't all these tweets and emails and bit premature?

I think they'd know if it's going to be delivered. Once AT&T sends the info to the shipper, it's out of their hands and systems are updated. If you don't have a tracking number today, expect to have one in October or November or whenever AT&T decides to let you have a phone.

If there's been a history of people getting phones before they even get tracking or a shipped status on ATT, this situation is definitely not out of the realm of possibility
 
Thanks...as I said, I'm sure this will do nothing to get our devices to us but I also encourage all of you to drop him a quick line. Perhaps you could all use the same subject line I did to get his attention:

AT&T iPhone 6+ pre order nightmare

I took a slightly different tack and sent a similar, but much shorter, email to Tim Cook. My message was more or less that though "AT&T is not Apple" it nonetheless reflects badly on Apple for customers to have such a terrible experience. I humbly suggested that he lean hard on AT&T to improve their back end systems. Of course, Apple's site was worse when pre-orders launched...that's the only reason I ordered from AT&T in the first place!

Still nothing in SEMO

I ordered before 2am central, (midnight EST) finished a minute or two after and I have nothing, no tracking, ATT has been no help at all. When I called a few days ago they said that since I ordered so early that I would get it today, they lied. I checked last night and they said that it was not shipped yet even though UPS says that I have a package out there with my cell number on it some were, but there is no tracking or delivery date. I'm starting to really hate ATT.......
 
AT&T Premier

Just spoke with a CS rep at AT&T premier. He gave me the line that these premier orders were worked by multiple teams to validate the orders and although mine was ordered at 12:54am MST it wasn't processes until 3:34PM on the 12th. I said that this isn't really first come first served. He agreed :( He apologized but that doesn't really help the situation. Guess I will just sit tight as I will not be cancelling my order as I hear the dates are even out until November. I currently have a working phone- Just won't be the first on the block to have the new shiny toy this time.
