AT&T Pre-order status

Posted this earlier. I believe this is the email you get when you buy a new phone. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe you get this after new IMEI and sim are attached to your account and the upgrade process is complete. Searched through my emails and see all my old ones for all my devices.

My holds disappeared a while ago.... They expire... When the items ship they are reinitiated.

One of my order numbers start with EXTPB.. and the other starts with N065.. which one do I go by? Either of those?

just sign in then click tracking, under where you would enter a tracking number, it'll show up or you can track by reference and try your billing or cell phone number

That happened to me with the 4s. Said backordered the whole time and it showed up on launch day.

Good catch! I didn't even notice that mine had also disappeared until I saw your post and double checked.

3 of my phones estimate shipment 10/13-10/22 and 1 of them 10/31-11/11. Crazy as I ordered each one of them right after the other.

A hold was placed on my card for the ENTIRE amount of all of these phones and it is still there! I see it listed under temporary authorizations.

One order status site lists them as "preparing to ship" and another lists them as "in progress," "pending shipment"

I am puzzled as to when they might actually get here. Don't understand the hold for the full amount still being there.

5 hours after pre-ordering started? you're lucky if you get your iphone 6 + mid October... but the iphone 6 4.7 should be no problems good luck

not just the quick stuff from the event.

NO one has 'hand on' yet.. Apple controls that TIGHTLY.. You won't see ANY reviews until early Friday morning as people receive their phones. NOBODY gets their phone before anyone else - anywhere.. LOL!! I remember a story on the 4S release that Michael Jackson offered Apple 2 mil for an advance release. They refused even Michael Jackson!!!

I had this happen with the 5. I rerouted to stay at the UPS facility and picked it up that morning before work.

I worry about changing to 'UPS Pickup' because at the website it says 'this could add time to your delivery'. I worry I'll mess up the thing and not be able to get it on Friday even though I have my tracking number from UPS. It would be WAY more convenient for me to pick it up..
