AT&T Pre-order status

Unexpected delivery tomorrow

Ordered the gold plain vanilla 6 with 16 gig from ATT (Premier) at 10 am EST.

Have been on the 10/14- 10/31 waiting list the whole time until late last night when suddenly it's in DFW with a tracking number scheduled for delivery tomorrow.

Happy me except now I have 2 iPhone 6's (pre-ordered one at Radio Shack also)

Anyone living near a major shipping hub in a major city should not be immediately alarmed if they have not received their tracking yet. Tracking numbers are often generated when they are scanned at pick up. So it is possible if you are with in one day delivery time of a major hub you may not receive your tracking until late tonight or at all. It is possible that it could be scanned tonight at or around 5:30 when the ground trucks arrive.

But admittedly time is running out at this point :)

Curious if anyone in the NYC metro area or NJ has received their tracking for a plus yet or other major port cities?

I ordered my 6 (silver, 64gb) at around 9am est.

Got my shipped email and tracking number in an email this morning at around 6am.

My iPhone is listed as just arriving in Jamaica queens about an hour ago. I assume it's at LGA.

9/12 5:00pm order - 128g Gold 6+
Status since 9/12 'preparing to ship'
Estimated ship date since 9/12, 11/7 - 11/27
Money was pending since 9/12, but dropped off as of last night. :/

What are the two numbers that people are talking about? The ones they are calling for status on the phones? Could you pass that number along? Preash
 
Just based off that flight tracker, I'd say that deadline may be around 2-3 am est Friday if the ship priority overnight and they pushed the delivery time to 8pm.

Bumping this, so people can have a somewhat ease of mind. I saw a couple people posting they ordered the 13th and 14th. I think the systems are just slow, people have been getting tracking numbers all throughout yesterday and today.
 
I seem to be having a reasonably unique problem.

So back on 9/12at about noon I went to AT&T (through premier) and ordered an iPhone6 64gb as a contract upgrade for line#1(estimate of 7-14 days) and a 16gb iPhone6+as a contract upgrade for line#2. Original delivery estimates had iPhone6+ shipping in Nov so went back to the premier order status page and clicked the option to cancel item. It said a confirmation email would be sent. Went back to then order an iPhone6 64gb for line#2. The delivery estimate for the line#2 came back as 21-35 days. That didn't work for us as we were going to be away on vacation in that time block so we decided to cancel all orders with AT&T. Went into each individual premier order status page and clicked cancel item.

At that point we logged into Apple.com and ordered iPhone6 64gb for line#1 and iPhone6 64gb for line#2 for store pickup on 9/19.

on 9/13 I received 2 emails from AT&T saying both orders for line#2 (6+ and 6 that we had already requested be cancelled) had been cancelled due to no longer being eligible for upgrade. Quick call to AT&T to confirm reason why and they said Apple tagged the upgrade and it auto cancelled all other orders for line#2. Line#1 order was still showing in system but they said they were super backed up from the system crashing and that it would catch up at some point.

Fast forward to yesterday (9/17) I get an email from AT&T saying line#1 would be receiving iPhone 6 64gb in mail via FedEx 9/19 with tracking# attached.

Now today I just got 2 emails from Apple saying that order of iPhone6 64gb for line#1 and iPhone6 64gb for line#2 are ready for pickup at my local apple store.

How the heck did two different contract upgrades go through for line#2?!

Don't feel bad. I ordered my 6+ at 12:01 a.m. and still have no shipping info yet people who ordered at 10:30 am are getting theirs tomorrow.
 
AT&T is scamming all of us, just go to the apple store.

ATT has no more + phones, ORDER FROM THE SOURCE NEXT TIME.

I highly doubt that many 6+'s will be delivered tomorrow. I've place preorders every year since the first iPhone came out and the expected ship dates from AT&T have always been pretty accurate. With the production issues on the 6+ screens and the fact that they are still only running 50-60% acceptance rate in manufacturing, Mid October seems to be a realistic time frame to fulfill most of the preorders. While I'm personally disappointed (yet again, you'd think I'd learn by now,) to be delayed in receiving my phone, I'd much rather wait for a quality product than to get one I had to return/exchange because of production issues.
 
I'm getting my 6+ tomorrow.

The only thing I can say to the people who aren't getting their phones tomorrow is;

When they say preorders start at 3, refresh the page at 2:45.

I am slated to get mine 10/2-10/13 and both of my orders were placed and confirmed before the launch even started. Explain THAT one!

I ordered at 2:45 and got my order confirmation at 2:47. Still no shipping info from at&t for my silver 16GB 6+ :(
