I called the premiere number today spoke to lady and explained my situation of how I was informed I couldn't cancel my order as of yesterday and I too ordered the 6 plus with a shipping window of 10/2 to 10/13 I was calm as I could and explained that it's unacceptable that i can't buy a phone in stores if I wanted the regular 6, since my phone is in a warehouse ready to ship supposedly aka pending shipping... She understood and just said I felt there was no reason I should have to pay the silly $40 activation upgrade fee... She was very helpful and stated it shouldn't be an issue but made a case and stated her manager would call tomorrow or Monday. I thanked her for her time and wished her the best through this mess!
Spoke to the Premier rep for over 2 HOURS tonight and couldn't get anything out of them. The $40 "upgrade fee" is silly to begin with and I've never had a problem having it waived before. Tried to complain (very courteously) that I was told an earlier date for my 6+, and the fact that my wife was without a phone all day because the "activation" turned off service on her old phone, but never kicked in on the 6 until an hour into the call.
