When did you order?
Canceling my order. I just checked apple.com and my local apple store has the space gray 6+ 64gb. Im not waiting 3 weeks for at&t. The last time Im ordering to at&t, I only did it because the apple site was down for hours.
I'm a premier member and wanting to cancel a preorder with att via the website. Do you or does anyone else know how long it takes to process the cancellation via the web site? I clicked cancel button and got an email asking me to confirm. I'm just worried it has to be manually reviewed or there will be a delay and it will cause me to not be able to reserve with apple at upgrade price.
The preorder cancellation should happen at nearly the same time - however, if you were upgrading, you will run into trouble with eligibility, preventing you from upgrading for the next three days.
Someone suggested a few posts ago to call 611 and have a rep do the cancel for you, as well as reset the eligibility status. I'm actually planning to do this tomorrow if I can stop by the Apple store and hope that they have something of a Plus for me to get (at this point I really don't give a **** about color or capacity).
Thanks for The response. I cancelled my att preorder via the website and was able to order at upgrade price with apple for instore pickup today!
Nice! I'm extremely bummed! I have an Oct 2nd ship date and my local Apple store has the phone I pre-ordered for pickup... Went to cancel my Pre-order on AT&T and I got an email saying my cancellation was denied! I could get the phone I want tomorrow at Apple but instead I have to wait a week for mine to ship cause I can't cancel my order this sucks! I'm so bummed! Any suggestions?!
That's terrible. Are you a premier member or just trying to cancel through the att website? I know some folks were saying they weren't able to cancel orders if your phone was actually assigned a tracking number (whether you can see it or not) and about to ship. Unfortunately if it won't let you cancel the best bet is to call or chat with someone once those avenues are available again.

If your cancellation got denied, it may be because they have already started shipping your phone. I ordered a 16gb plus in space gray through at&t premier and just cancelled my order in less than 5 minutes and I became eligible to upgrade immediately. I only did this because apple stores still have stock around my area and i ordered it for store pickup through them.
That's exactly what I wanted to do. I even called the 877 number and it says it's back ordered... So the fact I can't cancel it so that I can pick it up tomorrow from Apple is so frustrating. Well I'm glad it worked so well for u! Enjoy it! Haha I'm super jealous!!

That's exactly what mine is! For a 64GB iphone+ silver... I set an alarm to call AT&T as soon as they open tomorrow in hopes that they can cancel it and Apple will still have the phone I want... Wish me luck![]()
well try this tomorrow , I called every store with in 50 miles toady and they were all out of stock but hopefully tomorrow they will get more .
Finally received a "shipped" status and tracking number for my phone through FedEx. Arriving Monday. I'm Also a premier customer, so it looks like the clouds are breaking for the Premier orders. Don't cancel just yet!
I just cancelled mine and it was quick. When you click cancel and you will get another email to confirm your cancellation. After the cancellation confirmation is completed you will get 2 more emails within a couple seconds. One is a cancellation submitted and then preorder canceled. If you go back to the email with order status link and click it again it will show that it was canceled. Upgrade eligibility was restore instantly.
Everyone keep checking daily on apple.com for availability for your local store. Early today it showed unavailable for everything but this evening a couple came back in stock but sold out quick.
Thank YOU!!! I checked this morning. There was a 6 Plus 128 at my local Apple store. I took a chance of canceling ATT order and it took about 5 minutes totals. You get two email. I then quickly ordered for pick up.
