AT&T Pre-order status

DO NOT PREORDER FROM ATT EVER AGAIN.

you did that all in the store? Curious how fast it takes to cancel a preorder and have your AT&T number be flagged as eligible for upgrade.

It took me exactly three days even though the att site immediately canceled.
I ordered a 6 plus on Saturday, canceled late Sunday and was not able to place another order till Wednesday and it shipped today.
 
We ordered three iPhone 6s (16gb silver, 64gb gold, 64gb space grey) on Wednesday from at&t. Originally we were told via email that the phones would be delivered in mid-October, but an email today tells us that all three have shipped, and will arrive on Monday. Very excited to get mine! Tracking shows the space grey coming from Ft. Worth, and the other two coming from Memphis.

I called ATT (611) and was on hold for 15 minutes, then I spoke with someone, he cancelled my preorder and reset my eligibility in 5 minutes. I was able to buy the iPhone without a problem. I probably waited about an hour and a half in line. Everybody got what they asked for. I talked to one of the Apple employees and he said apple always gets the biggest share of phones and that they were ready this year with a lot more phones than last year. He did not seem to be shocked when I told him that ATT store didn't have any and that October and November dates are expected for carriers especially for the 6 plus.

They actually cancelled for me and reset the eligibility in a few minutes. I received a confirmation from ATT premier right then.

I ordered my 128 6 plus silver 5 mins before opening time 2:55 am est and att screwed me over big time because they didn't process my order until 9:48 am. Got confirmation saying 35-42 days shipping then bumped me to 11/22-11/27 shipping and now I'm at 10/2-10/13 date. Really angry because I should have my phone in hand today as I was one of the first people to order, but att messed my order up and still didn't own up to it. Even the rep at premier the other day said he can see that I ordered at 2:55am but he was sorry because the system didn't process my order until 9:48am. Oops sorry mam and I wish I had a way to push your order up and get you an iPhone. A big we don't care about you and move on to the next person please.

They actually cancelled for me and reset the eligibility in a few minutes. I received a confirmation from ATT premier right then.

I guess ours are on the same plane I ordered Wed and received shipping today!!
 
This is the greatest phone in the world. If you haven't gotten yours yet, stay optimistic, because you are going to love this thing.

Gotta call in a hundred mile radius that's what I had to do for my husband on the 5 release 4 hours there four hours back but we got the last one I would try that for finding a six or a six + try to look for BFE towns too
 
My AT&T store got 7 6+s and those were gone by 805am.
You should buy a lotto ticket.

Will never order from ATT online shop again... the worst and most unorganized preordering process ever! So mad people who ordered the same iphone as i am got theirs before me!!! like seriously WTF was the point of me staying up during midnight launch when youre not even going to honor first come first serve policy. NEVER EVER AGAIN AT&T.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
 
A quick comparison of iPhone 6 vs 6+ preorder supply (from 9to5Mac):

Demand for the 6+ was about 3 times that of the 6, but only 12% of phones delivered were iPhone 6's. Looks like Apple either really underestimated the demand for 6+ or there really is a serious manufacturing issue.
