I tried canceling my order as well this morning but was unable to do so. The cancel order button on the website resulted in an unsuccessful email and the live chat vs rep was unable to cancel as well. He stated that the order "had dropped in to the shipping system." Hopefully my order status will update with good news soon, though now I can't go pick one up locally today. :/
Preorder of 6+ Silver 64gb placed at 3:03am EDT with confirmation email received at 4:34am, through AT&T Premier. Originally in 10/13-10/22 window, bumped up to 10/2-10/13 a few days ago.
I could not wait any longer, 2 plus orders cancelled, officially. btw the cancel button worked on the premier site and it restored my upgrade eligibility immediately. Walking into the apple store as soon as it opens to get my phones.checked stock already.
how do you check stock without having to put in a bunch of personal info?
In process of trying to cancel my order now so I can do apple pick up. For me, I had to use the at&t chat.
I'm currently on the phone with AT&T. I wanted to cancel my preorder since I can go pick one up locally. As it turns out, they're unable to cancel my order because it's on it's way to the warehouse. I asked if I would get it this week since it's already at a warehouse, they said no, it's still going to be within the shipping time frame in my order status. I'm so mad right now. I know this sounds like a first world problem but it seems stupid that I have to wait 2-3 weeks for something I can go pick up today.
Does anyone know if once I buy my phone in store on either next or 2 year, if I can call Att and change the plan? Or is it final once the payment goes through?
Having an iPhone 6+ available for pickup 2 mile from where I'm sitting but being unable to get it because I'm a Next customer is infuriating.
