AT&T Pre-order status

I've had so many people telling me different things its crazy.


Everyone keeps saying you can't reserve one online with NEXT through Apple. What if you just show up when you know they have them in stock and get one.. can they process them in store? I've had multiple AT&T reps tell me they can.. but then again I've heard from other people that Apple tells them they can't.
 
Just received my text message for fed ex delivery. I placed the order 3:01 est sept 12 for iPhone 6 + and got the oct-2 to oct 13 th shipment dates. I was about to cancel today. Hang in there whoever placed an order in that timeframe.

I was told by apple rep that AT&T Next only via online order at Apple store. I also would like to know if Apple store can take AT&T Next in person?

I'm waiting till Monday since I am out of town... if I don't see any movement by Monday then I am going to cancel this and figure something else out. I;ve checked the local AT&T store where I am at but they have had a line out the door and around the corner every day since 14 hours prior to launch.

Yes if you want to order thru apple with Next plan you cant do in store pick up even if they have them in stock, I tried in the morning it even says it when your checking out.

See.. and that completely contradicts what the AT&T person told me just a few hours ago. The dude said they could absolutely do it in store for new or existing next members.

So you can't order online and pick it up in store... What if you just go to the store and didn't reserve one.. can they do it then? This is the question that we can't seem to find an answer to.
 
Better late than never, My phone has shipped, and FEDEX let me know before I received a formal email from AT&T

Confirmed for Monday 9/22 by 8 PM

I got my tracking number!! Monday by 3pm, can't wait!!

I ordered a 64gb SG IP+ at 3:04am est on the 12th. premier customer, got the mid november ship dates first then mid october on monday then first week of october on wednesday and stuck there till now.

9/12 @ 3:02 AM EST 6+ 64 GB SG. I was upset about not getting it on launch day. I even tried to test my luck @ the store.

The rep said "Yeah I have it", but goes to the back and comes back empty handed. Yesterday sucked

Color and Size?
 
I placed an order from AT&T on the evening it was opened, actually about 15 minutes before I was technically allowed because the countdown page just opened up to the ordering page automatically.

It was for a 6+ 128 SG and it was through the next program - I am a premiere member, wife works for the state but no one orders for me.

Originally had Oct. 2-13 delivery, then pushed to later in Oct. then back.

Got a confirmation email at around 11:50pm the night I ordered.

Then got some more emails and texts this week.

Then this morning when I checked the tracking for the 960th time, it showed this on my main order status page (on the computer, where you log-in to your account and show order status):

Scheduled for delivery on Monday.

And it still shows as order pending in the other methods of checking status.

Just got a text from fedex. Have tracking number. Mon delivery for 6+ 128 space grey. It was previously saying 10/2-10/13 on AT&T's website. Ordered about 5 minutes before official pre orders started.

Ordered same for wife just in gold still shows the dates that mine did until this morning. Hopefully hers updates today.

128 plus SB 2:50am (10 mins before pre-order)

got confirmation email just after 3am

was 10/2-10/13 date.. this afternoon I got the shipped via Fedex and coming on Monday when I will be at work.


Should have gotten it on Friday but Monday is better then cancelling..
 
There is HOPE!

Like many of you, I ordered at 1:55 a.m. CDT on the 12th a 64GB SG Plus and was sitting with the 10/2 to 10/13 date forever with no news all day yesterday as everyone was getting their new iphones. I just checked again for the millionth time and lo and behold what to my eyes did appear, but a Fedex tracking number showing it shipped 9/20 with estimated deliver Monday by 8! Hang on guys, they are coming. I hope you all get yours soon and I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for being a great group to share our hopes and disappointments over the last week. Don't cancel! The plus will be worth the wait!
 
Looks like a good bit of movement for premier customers and especially the 128gb 6+. Looks like some 64 are moving as well. Good luck everyone. Hopefully all these cancelations are starting to move our orders up.
