AT&T Pre-order status

I looked this morning and none of the stores in the Bay Area had the specific configuration I ordered (silver 64gb 6+).
 
The only thing that changed with my status is the 877 number. It always said backordered and now it says it's being processed with expected ship date 10/2-10/13. I'm not expecting much though it just sounds like their system finally caught up to reflect what we see on the order status page.

That sucks, I went to AT&T store and found the fun I like but they reject to cancel my Pre-Order stating its AT&T policy now not to cancel , I have to wait then return it and get the new one . stupid company !!!!!

They're not going to promise you anything over the phone. I got lucky when I called my local store cuz the guy was very nice and basically told me if I was in the area, I needed to come in ASAP. That was the only store that actually told me they still had 6's, so take a drive tomorrow morning and see what happens. You've got nothing to lose! Plus I'm sure the stores got shipments tonight, those planes flying in every few hours are supplying the stores for the most part.

same here. I don't even remember what i did with my life before. It's been following this forum and checking my shipping status via ATT for a week now. Ordered a 6+ 64gb silver at 7am central time.

That's odd... if this is a company wide thing then it sounds like they are realizing everyone is canceling and going to Apple and other places.. I really hope they aren't trying to lock everyone into their preorders. They dropped the ball and are now making everyone suffer.
 
Still waiting for movement. Ordered a 64gb 6+ @ 2:03 central time and been stuck preparing to ship since then with 10/1- 10/14 ship dates!!!
 
Just got word mine was shipped today.. arrival on Monday. Its currently in Fort Worth, I'm in Dallas. Thank effin God.. Looks like the 10/2s are rolling through! Good luck guys!!

-Ordered 20 minutes after launch
-Still shows 10/2-10/13 timeline on AT&Ts website/app
-877 number says shipped via FedEx
-64GB SG+

Heads up apple store in SF has silver and gold 6+ 128gb for in store pick up today. I decided to try to cancel my preorder with att and just do in store pick up in SF since I have to go into the city anyway. Att said I couldn't cancel as it's already in the shipping process. Kind of lame as I kind of want the gold now instead of the silver lol.
 
Good to see everyone getting tracking numbers. I ordered about 2:05am central time so I'm hoping I get a tracking number soon. I can't cancel my order since AT&T is getting an error doing so. Hopefully that a sign that I should be receiving one soon.
 
Man come on att im waiting my shipping date is 10/2-10/13 i placed my order about 10min before preorders went live.
 
6+ 64gb SG Pre-Order Shipped!

Pre-ordered a 6+ 64gb SG at 11:55a PST last Friday, shipping date was holding at 10/2. Spent all week freaking out like many. Called AT&T to cancel and just wing it using Apple's Personal Pickup, but they said I couldn't (cancellation was also rejected using Premier), two hours later, I checked "My Orders" again and I now have FedEx tracking number! Should arrive Monday!

On the flip side, I also preordered a 6+ 64gb SG for my wife thorugh AT&T. I was able to cancel her order this morning and picked up 6+ 128gb Silver at an Apple Store (using the app and Personal Pickup) just awhile ago!

AT&T order status being fulfilled email received at 3:12am EST (9/12)
Text from AT&T stating my order has been sent to warehouse for shipping on 9/12 at 9:00am.

Order status fluctuated over weekend from Processing to Preparing to Ship, to Backordered, and finally returning to Preparing to ship, where it is now.

Ship date remains 10/2-10/13 with no tracking found on UPS or Fedex as of yet.


I will say I had literally this same experience with the Iphone5 two years ago with the changing and late shipping dates and fluctuating status's and not being able to see my tracking number. Actually feeling fairly confident it will come on time. People blasting AT&T and Apple, but I am sure few companies have the infrastructure to deal with such a launch. This is my third presale order of the Iphone through AT&T and I've always received on launch day.

Still nothing on this one yet. I got the email on Thursday saying my shipping dates have not changed yet.

judging from the order times and models that are getting shipped today, you should expect to get a confirmation today.. just my guess.
