Does anyone know if there is anyone left that ordered on the 12th that hasn't received their phone or at least a tracking number? Please tell me they have finally finished processing orders from the first day of preorders!

My girlfriend ordered her iPhone 6 (16GB, Silver) on 9/13, just one day after pre-order launch. Her expected ship dates were 9/28-10/2. Yesterday (10/2), her status went from "Processing" to "Preparing to Ship". I thought, okay, this is progress. However, this morning, it changed to "Back Order".

Note, this is not even for the "hard to find" 6+, just a regular 6.

I really had no idea AT&T was this bush league until I started following the threads on this iPhone fiasco. And if it's true that they don't let some of you guys cancel your orders, then I don't even know what to say.

I've got a 6+ ordered from AT&T via in-store direct fulfillment. I've decided it's too big and I'd rather have the 6. AT&T store told me I have to wait until the 6+ comes in (scheduled for Nov.), and then swap it for a 6. Is this correct that I can't cancel and re-order?

Good grief...I ordered the same exact phone except on the 17th. Guess it will really be November.

Well I guess I'll order something from Amazon so I at least have a box to open on Monday lol!
 
Got my at&t iPhone 6 plus SG 128gb

I called at&t as soon as I could speak to a CSR at 7am this morning and cancelled my preorder (placed at 4am eastern on 9/12) and stayed on the line until I confirmed my upgrade eligibility was restored. I went to my local apple store an hour before they opened. They were doing one-to-one training and a nice young lady saw that I was waiting and asked if she could help me (again, an hour before the store opened). She checked and my model was in stock, so BINGO I now have the unicorn itself, the fabled 128gb SG 6 plus! I will never pre-order with at&t again. Good luck to everyone still waiting.

I ordered mine about an hour after Midnight PST, got tired of waiting for Apple Store to come online and ordered from AT&T. Never doing that again. Still "Backordered".

...that says they still plan on shipping it in early November.

Pissed me right off.
 
I don't know about Premier (didn't even know there was such a thing until I started reading this thread), but I know for sure that you can cancel an order made online for an on-contract phone. I don't know if this is different from the number people have been calling, but I called 866.267.4510 a couple of times and didn't have to wait all that long and was helped. Might give that a try.

I am in the Cincinnati area. I saw the same on sea turtle, but I got an alert email at 3am this morning from sea turtle (I recommend you sign up for notifications) that my local apple store had one in stock so I went for it. Be aware that you cannot purchase online on the next plan for in store pickup, you must go to the store and make the purchase there. Be there 1st thing in the morning to increase your odds. I do not think sea turtle is 100% accurate.

Yes, I preordered on 9/12 at 4am eastern and as of this morning was still on back order. That is why I cancelled and went to the apple store. The phone you want is in stock at the local apple stores here.

When I called them today asking about cancelling my back-ordered pre-order, they indicated it would take 24-48 hours for NEXT upgrade eligibility to be restored. How did you convince them to do it immediately for you while you were on the line?
 
Just a heads up I forgot to post this but I ordered a 6+ on the day of preorder (about 30 minutes after it opened) and it told me my 6+ space gray 64 gig would be here October 13-21

Well I got it about 7 days ago


I did a finders fee return for someone on Craigslist to buy it off of me(return to store and they buy it after paying me to do so). I was lucky enough to get on at Apple on launch day so I just let my preorder roll.

I'm sure there is a shortage of the Silver 16GB, my dates are 9/25 - 10/6, nothing. Plenty of people are getting way ahead of their estimated dates. Nothing at our local Apple store either. So we just sit and wait I guess.

Yeah, same here... they are ignoring any comment related to iPhone 6 Plus or Pre-Orders for that matter. Anything else about any of their services gets promptly answered and help is offered.

The CSR said sometimes it is immediate and sometimes not. In my case it worked and I have read where others did the same.

I just canceled, and my upgrade eligibility was restored immediately even though they said it could take up to 48 hours.

I just cancelled also, she and I were very nice, and upgrade is back already. Headed to the Apple stores (1 hour away) to roll the dice. I see one available, but can't reserve if doing Next.

That whole "it's in the warehouse preparing to ship" line is complete BS. There's a difference between preparing to ship and back ordered. The CSR reps don't have a clue as to when we'll get our phones just as much as we do. Both Apple and AT&T are to blame for this.

Don't know why everyone is saying reps don't have a clue. I called 877 number, chose option to speak to rep. He told me 10/2-10/13 is what shows on his screen. This is different from what shows online and on recording. Take the time to speak to a rep instead of just listening to the recording.

I just spoke to a CSR too and they said my 11/9 - 11/27 was actual, there was no change in it nor will there be. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!! The inconsistencies are overwhelming.

I'm in the same boat... ordered the iPhone 6 16GB Silver on 9/18 and have shipping dates of 9/29 to 10/8. Figured that everyone was receiving theirs ahead of their estimated shipping dates, but haven't seen anyone post about receiving their silver 16GB 6 shipping... Doesn't look like anyone is getting these... hopefully they are still making them :eek:

Backorder, backorder, backorder.... can't stand listening to that message!

Remember, seaturtles grid only updates when someone actively searches a particular store for a particular model. That's what all the numbers mean. A better bet is to use idevicechecker.com

Its showing several apple stores with spacegrey 128gb right now

I'm seeing dallas, Atlanta, Oklahoma city, st Louis, Nashville, Columbus , Kansass city, Knoxville showing it in stock
