That iDeviceChecker site is cool. It shows that the 16GB silver i6 is in stock at almost every Target store in the country. I verified with my local store, and it looks correct. That is such ****ing bull***. Why are the stores able to stock their shelves when there are still pre-order's pending? Terrible! I am unable to do anything about it since it's a company order that I have no control over. As much as I would like to solely blame AT&T for this, it is just as much if not more on Apple to distribute the phones where needed. Obviously they are not needed right now on Target store shelves!!!!!!!!!
I hate it when the ATT website says that its preparing to ship, but the dates are 10/29-11/18. What does preparing to ship mean when the dates are so far in the future?

I think the 877# is more accurate. The website said mine was preparing to ship from the day after I ordered it but when I call the number it says it's backordered.
I'm tired of calling and saying the same thing. I want my phone. Ugh. So annoyed
with this.
Wow, just used that site for NYC with the same results you got. Interesting, I wonder how Target is the only store in NYC with this model.
i got really board so i was looking at this site (http://flightaware.com/live/fleet/FDX) and i can see that there are 3 FedEx plans coming for China so MAYBE they could hold some of our phones lol
I just cancelled also, she and I were very nice, and upgrade is back already. Headed to the Apple stores (1 hour away) to roll the dice. I see one available, but can't reserve if doing Next.

- Went back to the Apple Store and bought my new iPhone
- Went back to the AT&T store and traded my 4S in for a $200 statement credit

Well this seems like a viable option for me possibly. There will be a new mall (with an Apple store) opening up across the street from my office on 10/16. If my preordered 6+ 64GB ship date doesn't change from 11/7-11/27 by then, I'll consider this and head over there on my lunch break that day, that is if they have them in stock....
That's me. Ordered about 40 minutes after preordering started. However I've seen people who ordered well after me get the exact phone I ordered so who the f knows?
so i ordered the iPhone 6+ gold 16gb at 12:04 am pacific time on 9/12, and i had the late novemeber ship date than got moved to the 10/2-10/13 date with no recent activity, i checked daily about updates called the 877 number yesterday and it said its on backorder and i just called again right now and it said we are currently processing your order now. fingers crossed it comes in next few days. i was about to cancel it because its available at 5 different targets in my area, but i guess i can wait now that i heard its processing. good luck guys
So I am returning to AT&T as a new customer and I placed an order for an iPhone 6, 6 plus, 5c and a Samsung S5. Do they hold shipping for the entire order until the iPhones are in stock or do they ship what is available? The later would be very expensive, because I am porting numbers from another carrier and if they did a partial ship, I would have to pay two carriers until I received and ported the iPhones (6 and 6 plus). Interesting an order placed 10/03 for an iPhone 6 would get an expected ship date of 10/08 - 10/10. The 6 plus says 11/12 - 11/21. I hope sooner for the 6 plus.
Now I'm not sure what to believe. My 64gb Plus SG is stuck at 11/9-11/27 online and "backordered" on the 877 number.
If I talk to a human there's a discrepancy between the reps in the States and the offshore reps. Folks in the States tell me 10/2-11/27 while folks in India or wherever tell me 11/9-11/27.
It seems Target is overflowing with the Pluses but you have to settle for 16gb. Seems tempting now that all my music, photos etc are in the cloud and I need less storage.

Originally 9/12 but systems kept auto canceling because of account screwup. Had to reorder in-store on 9/16.

I am definitely anxiously awaiting my confirmation email saying it is en route. All I have is the "order processing" email to give me hope. ATT website said 28-35 days before it ships, but Apple told me 3-4 weeks. 6 of one, half a dozen of the other. I went w/ Apple of course. The smaller numbers were very reassuring ha.
Ordered a 128 GB / Space Gray / iPhone 6 Plus on 9/12 via the AT&T website (not premier). Still pending with an estimated ship date of 10/13 - 10/22. No movement. 877 says backordered.
same phone. ordered mine 09.12 at 0258 central time. ship dates 10.02-13 now both phone numbers are saying on backorder... 866 number always said in process. a hour ago it started saying backorder.
