One of my 128g gold 6+ shipped today it was the one that was on backorder my other one has been processing since the 20th

Originally ordered two 64GB 6 Gold & SG back on 9/19 with AT&T using the Next plan. After a week of no movement, canceled the order and went to the Apple Store site. Ordered the same phones on 9/26 and the Gold was delivered yesterday and the SG just arrived.

Not saying you should do what I did but... ATT is pretty darn slow. Apple got it to us in a week's time.

Best of luck to everyone and I hope they hurry up with your orders!

Just a thought..Every one of these phones is from Apple. It's Apple that is prioritizing Apple customers over the carriers, which is just wrong. If they want carriers to sell their phones, then they need to stock them. It is not ATT that makes the phones, and they have no control over Apple to ship them to them. Everyone, regardless of carrier, should be mad at Apple.

Just dropping my information again:

AT&T
iPhone 6
Space Gray
64GB
Ordered in-store 9/27
Estimated delivery 10/27-11/14
Website says Preparing for Shipment
877 # Says Backordered

*This* close to cancelling my order and going through Apple.com.

Little update on my fun debacle. My finance's iPhone shipped last night, we got the notification on it. Mine of course is still saying Backordered when you call the 877 number and shows that my ship date is November 9th-27th.

I guess what I don't get is how two phones that were ordered at almost the same exact time, I actually used two different computers and different bank/credit cards so there would be no fraud issues, how these orders could be so drastically far apart. I could have understood a week maybe, but over a month difference.

I got the bill yesterday and I got the $40 upgrade fee even though we both are on next, I'm worried about calling in to get it fixed cause I don't want them to mess up my order at all. AT&T has so horrifically botched this whole process that I don't want anything else to go wrong

Thats my rant, even if a lot of it makes little to no sense, had to get it out in the open.

My husband got a similar estimated date as you did and I got the good October date for the same phone despite him placing the order for his first. We are (business) premier customers using NEXT, too. Borkage was strong for customers in our category. I'm amazed there are still so many preorders in purgatory.

I forgot to add his estimated date bounced forward and back but we did end up getting our phones the same day. His shipping notice did complete hours before mine. We got ours last Thursday.

Just got the notification last night that my fiancés phone had shipped. So she will have her phone on Tuesday and I am still waiting till November 9th

Ordered 64gb space gray 6 plus in local AT&T store. Received email that it would ship between 11/4 and 11/14. Received email today staying that the shipping dates are still the same.

True but AT&T has made a bad situation worse by shipping out phones in no apparent order. I've seen people who ordered a week after me get the exact phone I ordered. Maybe they thought nobody would notice.

I got an email like this from my pre order. My delivery dates are nov 7 -25

Back with 128GB SG+ in hand. It was the *only* one left, and the 'available for pickup' status had gone away by the time I was in the store, but they had one! (it's big).

I was wondering if it worked out for you! Congrats man! I wanted SG but settled on silver. Just happy to have it. And it's big but fits perfectly

Same exact ship dates for mine as well. Same specs except color, mine is silver. Seems that 64 GB model is VERY popular.

well with the new iphone design, gold doesn't look prestigious anymore, and any screen protector will turn yellow over time so that makes silver a bad choice, thus leaving only grey

and with continuous updates on ios and apps, 16 gigs doesn't cut it anymore, and most people wont need or wanna pay for 128, thus leaving only 64 since apple dont wanna offer 32

so in summary, apple's product strategy around iphones really leave us no choice but grey 64 gigs

which is one of the the things i really dont like about this company - seriously? it's 2014 and you are still offering 16 gigs without sd expansion? i think the next gen iphone would still have the same storage options - apple make 70/80+ bucks more on the 64 gig one than the 16 gig one. and they will continue pressuring ppl into 64 gigs/buying icloud storage by increasing ios update size, refusing to offer SD expansion.

the next plan also encourged people to buy bigger, more expensive phones than any other iPhone release IMHO

Without trying to get too far off topic, the next plan does come out to be cheaper in the long run if you plan on keeping your phone longer than 2 years. But now...
I was under the impression that the silver back had a white front. Am I wrong on this? I check my status once a day in the very slim hopes I may get very lucky and get it shipped sooner. Any news on shipping estimates? We should be getting down to the time frame of 2-3 weeks I would think. But then again, there hasn't been anything like the iPhone 6 or 6+ either.

well it's interesting that ppl seem to more pissed off with att than they are with apple.

why bother supplying the carriers if you make more money selling phones at your own stores and when you can shift the hate to carriers, esp since you can get traffic to yours stores to purchase accessories (which have MUCH higher margins) when they buy their phones

The silver back, indeed, has a white front.

On another note, after having my 6+ for a few days, I LOVE IT!. Battery life is exceptional. Can't wait for many of the apps to be updated to take advantage of the 6+ display though. I highly recommend that instead of waiting in limbo with AT&T, that many of you cancel your order and find phones at the Apple Store. Seems as if they are still getting them in daily.

Just some info. I ordered my 6/64/SG on Oct-2, it shipped today (Oct-4), and is scheduled to arrive Oct-9 via UPS. Not sure how accurate this is but it seems like ordering straight from Apple is the better option (which i'm sure you guys already know)...

Just thought id through this info out there incase any potential buyers are reading...

whaaatt lucky! :)

Ordered the 6 in silver 16gb on 9/30 and i'm still "preparing to ship"

Just a data point: I had placed my order on AT&T on 9/27 (late, I know). Since there was no movement at all and looking at the experiences of people here, I decided to do what someone else had mentioned here: istocknow.com/live showed Target near me had iPhone 6 stock, so went over there, asked the salesperson to keep a phone aside for me, cancelled AT&T on phone and activated the one from Target.

That target even had a few 6+ available.

I wonder if there is any downside in going this route, like some hidden fee from AT&T etc. However this looks like a much better way of getting the phone than waiting for several weeks.
