May I know starting digits of your order number?My mom ordered a gold iPhone 6 16 gb last Saturday 9/27 and she received shipping notification Thursday and got hers today. I ordered my silver iPhone 6 64gb the same day and my shipping dates are 10/16-10/27 and as of today it stills says backordered. I really don't get why these shipping dates are all so different for practically the same phone.
My friends ordered directly from ATT and got their 6's(space gray & gold) within 1 day of their order. Their orders were placed about 8-9 days ago.

My estimated shipping window is about to come and go (9/29-10/8). Has anyone on here not received their phone by the latter date of the window? 16GB silver 6. In stock at every target and some radioshacks in the country.
For the folks who can order through Apple.com or pick up directly in the store rather than being forced to order through ATT, I would strongly suggest go with the former route.
Apple now has to supply phones to numerous carriers all around the planet and ATT is just 1 more carrier in the list and the orders are definitely being processed slower than Apple.com orders it looks like.

WOW! I ordered my 6+ 64GB silver on 9/26 and got a ship estimate of 11/4-11/14. Now I was told something about the weeks being business days. Scratching my head on that one and not sure what to make of it.
I feel bad for you guys. Honestly, you should consider in canceling your orders at a local AT&T store and waiting for your Apple store to get in stock. y0!
i would if i had the $1500+ to drop on a phone, unfortunately i don't, so i have to wait on AT&T.
Unless you are on a specific Employer Discount kind of plan, Apple store/apple.com should cost the same as on AT&T. The same plan and other options should show up. In my case (I got my phone from Target store after canceling the AT&T order) I expect the employer discount to appear on my AT&T bill in a month or so.
Or is there something else to your particular situation?
Has everyone received their iPhone before/within their estimated timeframe? This thread kind of makes me nervous that the AT&T phones are shipping slow... I'm going out of state next month and really hope I get it in time!

I asked earlier and i did not see a response. If your order through Apple can you select the NEXT plan for payment through ATT?

My Gf ordered 9/25 iphone 6 16gb silver her card was charged but I don't think she's received much more information on her shipping.
I'm with tmobile ordered 2 days after her on a Saturday and my phone is scheduled for delivery tomorrow.

I wish somebody could get to the bottom of this. Is it just the fact that more people are ordering from ATT combined with Apple making the decision to stock stores first (which makes some sense, just a little). Its not looking good for ATT having every other carrier getting phones to their people quicker. If anything, seeing as how ATT was exclusive to the iPhone when it first came out, i would think that they would have just as fast ordering and shipping as Apple.
That's what I thought. But the dates there giving when you go order one is pretty long except for the 128gb models (3-5days) ... 16gb(7-14days) ... 64gb(14-21days) ... The dates also depend on the color but those days are pretty accurate.
yeah the site says 7-14 days, but my order page says 10/29/14 - 11/18/14 i ordered it on the 30th of september. so even that is messed up.. lol

I am expecting the gold 6 to ship next week. At least we will have one shiny new toy. I have been beyond frustrated at the lack of ATT updates. Seeing 6 to 7 planes of iPhones come into the US a day with what seems like no movement blows my mind. I know its just a phone, but I have been on a GS3 since its release... Terribad. I have been ready to switch to iPhone for more than a year. Just a few more weeks I suppose.

So odd the way they're doing it. Our phone guy ordered one for me on our Premier account on 9/23 and I show 10/31-11/11.
I think iPhone 6+ manufacturing is obviously cocked up at the moment. Nobody has them. The original stock went quickly, preorders are still being caught up. Then of course the apple stores want stock.
When I ordered at ATT their computer said 2-3 weeks. Of course now the AT&T site shows mid Nov.
I'm not sure if the Next charges start before I get my phone...will piss me off if so.
We went from unlimited (throttled after 5gb) to 30gb shared without a bump in our monthly charges, felt better doing it at at&t.
