I know there are smart newbies (you appear to be one), but the iPhone launch on the boards are rough.
Im actually surprised at the lack of conspiracy theories this year like "the illuminati are getting first dibs on the preorders"... Its been fairly sane this year except of course for all this foot stomping and whining about ship dates generated automatically.

IPhone 6 plus Gold 64 GB ordered at 11:50 AM PT 9/12. As of last night had a ship date of 0ct.2-13. Now shows Oct 13-22:(. This is frustrating.

Can any one tell what is the prbabilty of getting an iPhone Plus on the launch day if i stand in the line Friday morning in NYC?

Given that there are already people in line at both NYC Apple locations, you'd need to join them soon to have any degree of confidence.

Thanks Guys!! As i was told Att stores in New york might not recieve any iPhone 6 Plus on the Launch day.Well a Manager told me they are in huge Back order....

I'm hoping for the 10/19 For both models. it bothers me that AT&T isn't giving people any updates, even though its the weekend and they are trying there hardest to ship both Phones. Its Really hard When apple allowed all the main supporting countries to preorder on this one day, and they new what this was going to cause. i have faith that everything will workout by this week.

Premier customer?

I ordered (called) around 8 AM CST since I was not able to at midnight (2 AM CST) due to no devices showing on the account, so I called and ordered over the phone. Got the email confirmation right away and I am pending to ship 10/13 - 10/22 still. (Premier account).

iPhone+ 128GB Silver

I was thinking the same thing. I ordered at about 5:10AM EDT a Space Grey 64GB iP6+ and it says "preparing to ship". Otherwise, wouldn't it just say order processed?

I want to feel comfortable about my order, but I can't. I only get excited like this when I order Apple products!

Edit: Not NEXT customer. Grandfathered Unlimited user, here.

Keep in mind that the status can appear different depending on where you look it up, on premier order lookup mine shows "pending", through the regular wireless order lookup, mine shows "preparing to ship".

We should find out more tomorrow and know a much more probable time frame of delivery Wednesday

Got the same news- ordered iph6 + at 11:45a on 9/11, received confirmation email 10 minutes late. scheduled to ship 10/2-13 now it ready 10/13-22.

On the positive side, we can look forward to looking cool like Zak with our iPhone 6 plus- :D

There is NO priority for shipping besides when you placed your order! Premiere doesn't get any special treatment here. And for the people who think they do because Apple wants "important people business to be seen with them" news flash: If Apple wanted you to be seen with the iPhone they would give you one for free not make you preorder.

I had dates of September 19th and September 23rd-October 2nd.

Now both of my orders are showing "processing - pending shipment" and neither have dates.

Anyone know what this might mean?

Originally ordered ATT switched to Apple

I generally like ordering through Apple because I have had problems with ordering from ATT in the past. As everyone else has stated the Apple store was down and ATT was working great for me so I ordered three phones from ATT, two for my household, one for a friend. Get all three orders in by 2:45am cst, went to bed woke up with three confirmation emails stating should expect to receive on or around 9/19.

At this point I'm feeling great, my orders went in no problems. Around 1 pm I decide check my order status, first order 6 64gb gold shipping 9/17-9/18 all good that sounds like a launch day to me. Second order 6 64gb gray, shipping 9/23-10/2 wtf how could the shipping time slip when I ordered it right away. Check third order still processing, wtf I got a confirmation e-mail how is it still processing.

At this point I got nervous, luckily due to the 6+ demand most of the 6's were still available on launch day through Apple site. So I go to cancel my order, of course it wouldn't work online and I had to cancel my order before my upgrade eligibility was restored. So I call to cancel my order and of course do to large volumes I end up waiting about an hour. Cancel my order, while I'm still on the phone I check my eligibility on Apple site and it's restored, ask about my processing order and they confirm that the order hasn't been placed is still processing, so I cancel that as well and then cancel the third just so I can get them all from Apple.

So moral of the story if you can order from Apple do it, I'll wait for the Apple store to come up next time even if ATT is working, not worth the risk. This is the third time I have had issues with an ATT preorder. However if you aren't concerned about getting it on launch day there is no reason you shouldn't order from ATT, you will get your phone it just may not be as timely.

Not sure about your iPhone 6 plus but you will get your iPhone 6 on September 19th

I called my credit card and said the charge went through.

Then u should have already cancelled as per your post that ended with PERIOD. Let me know if att apologizes or offers you any type of deal to come back though.

Okay, I thought I'd chime in and add my experience after reading these blogs this past couple days.

I ordered a SG iPhone 6+ 64GB a few minutes (2 to be exact) after website launch at 3AM EST. I actually did notice the pre-order site did go live before 3am and thought I was dreaming, so I actually waited because I didn't want my pre-order to get screwed up because I ordered BEFORE official start time (silly me in retrospect perhaps).

Anyway, I clicked on all the iPhone 6+ options (sizes/colors), they were ALL saying 14-21 days at 3AM. The only models that said 9/19 were regular iPhone 6s. So to all those who ordered iPhone 6s, a) you should post you ordered an iPhone 6 because it's confusing sometimes when you all tell us your order status and b) you'll probably get your devices on the 19th.

I got my confirmation email at 3:07AM. It still saying 14-21 days. No text message. On Saturday, I received two text messages like everyone else who got text messages and my order status went to Expected delivery 10/13-10/22.

Because I check this site more regularly than AT&T, when everyone else said their shipping status had changed, I logged on and sure enough mine went to "Backordered" status. So, maybe that's a good sign. I do find it interesting that those who did pre-order early got pushed back. I know someone suggested AT&T is punishing those people... although funny to think of... probably not the case. But, I did fear pre-ordering earlier than supposed to as I said above.

Hopefully I get it this Friday! Would make waking up that early worth it. Of course it was my only option since I'm an EXISTING Next person on Premier. Apple can't handle device trade-ins for Next customers so AT&T was my only outlet...

What makes you so sure? I was told Apple would have priority over the carriers. Plus, when Apple receives new shipments, they can send directly to us rather than send to AT&T who is going to do the same.

Apple stores always have priority over brick & mortar carrier stores on launch day. When it comes to pre ordering Apple will share their stock of iPhones with AT&T and Verizon. Sprint and Tmobile don't get as much stock.
