AT&T Pre-order status

@ 2:04 Central time, i complete my order to ATT premier...got the $1 charge on my acct and the email that said 7-10 days... i felt i was fine, and went to bed....at 5:42 i got the email confirmation and it had changed and said 14-21 days....i assumed this was going to be a preautomated email that it was sending to everyone....

Yesterday i received 2 texts saying my order had finished processing...BLAH BLAH BLAH...

TODAY, i logged into my Att Premier Order status page, and my order has changed from 10-13 - 10-22 ....it now says 10-2 - 10-13...

i just believe this will continue to happen for the next 4 or 5 days...if you got an order in within the first 20mins of the website being live, i think you're fine, the orders are starting to settle and the correct shipping dates will be posted by Weds!

For those of us with a job. Staying up till 3am hasn't happened since high school. If you order the first day the things go up for pre order (within the first 4 hours my time) you shouldn't be waiting at all. To not have the stock to cover the first 4 hours of orders is a joke.

Walking in on launch day shouldn't be a better option than pre ordering one a week before that.
 
Preparing to Ship-11/09/14 - 11/27/14 6+ 16gb silver ordered at 0202 central . Don't know if I should cancel order and go to apple or wait it out. Also considering cancelling AT&T all together and going to verizon now that you can talk+surf(big big big for me).
 
Ordered a 6 64GB space gray at about 3:15 am NY time on the 12th and the order was updated to provide "The estimated shipping date range for this item has changed from 09/23/14 - 10/02/14 to 09/17/14 - 09/18/14." What's strange though is online it doesn't show the shipping address.

I'm on hold with ATT griping about the situation with the 6, but I'm happy for the change to the 6+. Assuming it's accurate...

Mine shifted to an earlier ship as well.

Yep, I have the exact same updated status Steve. I ordered mine at 12:10am. (I still am not sure why I'm not getting one on 9/19 but oh well.)

I ordered my in NYC at around 9:00am. Mine also just changed the same as yours.

i agree....i am a teacher, so going to bed at 3am after ordering a phone should guarantee i see it on release...thats the whole reason we ordered so early.
 
I ordered an iPhone 6 Plus 16GB sliver on 9/11 at 11:45pm. I received email 5 minutes later after purchase. I am a premier customer, and my ship dates were 10/2-10/13, but this morning were bumped to 10/13-10/22. I called to check my status and it is on backorder. So i'm pretty confused from what it states online to what it says on the phone. Lol. Crossing my fingers.

From a phone coming from ATT, I think this is bearable. I don't like it, but it's better than what I had been thinkin otherwise. Even though I placed my order within the first 15-20 minutes of ATT go-live.

Too long considering apple should have had enough phones to cover Atleast first day pre orders, let alone first few hours. Too long considering people will be walking in store on the 19th and walking out with them :(

Yea I'm pissed. Went from 9/27-10/13 to 11/9-11/27 then from that back to 10/31-11/9 or some crap.

Ordered at 7est which I had figured was plenty early. I knew the zealots would have plenty of orders in by then but I also had to work and figured that pointless considering it was within the first few hours sales were even live.

Had the same change today. I've suspected all along that this would be the case. Last preorder I went through Apple (the app) and everything was very smooth. This time I was forced to go through ATT due to the app not working. I'll get it when I get it but it would be nice to get it on release since I got up at 3AM to order it.

I just checked my order status again and now and it still shows "Preparing to Ship" but the date range has been updated to 10/2-10/13 now. Hopefully it keeps moving up!

Was told my order was put on backorder, so I cancelled. Now, I have to wait for my damn eligibility to update. Why does this have to be such a hassle...........

same as me:

6+, 16gb, silver order. Premiere/FAN customer

Ordered from AT&T, order processed at 11:47pm PST [got in early]
Received confirmation email at 12:05am PST; shipping "14-21 biz days" = 10/13-10/21
Credit card was charged $1

Later in day on Thursday, card was charged full amount of phone

Friday, received the "your order is being processed" text x2 [8:17pm, 8:40pm]

When checking status on AT&T, says shipping 10/13-10/21

Then TODAY, says BACKORDERED
 
Had my 6+ 128gb gold from 10/13 - 10/22 pending shipment to back-ordered.

I was certain I was one of the first to order. Done at 3:03AM EST and got my confirmation at 4:50AM EST.

Search for old forums for the release of the 4 and 5....plenty of people went to backordered and got phone on release date.
 
My shipping dates just got moved up from 9/23 - 10/3 to 9/17 - 9/18.
Thanks to everyone who cancelled their orders, I owe you all a beer. Hope you don't mind sharing.
 
6+ 128gb Space Gray

I ordered at 11:50pm PST on 9/11 and got the email confirmation at 11:56pm PST. Original window was the 10/2 one, now moved to "backordered" with no dates.

Hoping everyone is right that is the norm for AT&T. I called them but they have no helpful information at all. I can't imagine that many people could have ordered before me so I'm still hoping I somehow get it on the 19th.
