AT&T Pre-order status

Laughing at the person who thinks he has any idea LOLOL.

Let's be honest. A lot of people cancelled almost a full day later, went to apple and immediately got a 9/19. Even if the att would have arrived at the same time, now they don't have to stress it.

To be fair regardless of when it arrives it's handled extremely poorly by both apple and att considering they are not only well well aware of the demand but have been doing this close to a decade now. It's a real shame.

For nostalgia sake - steve balmer making fun of the first iphone make anyone else feel good? Anybody care to speculate as to what phone he is using at this very minute?

Then again with this generation I don't doubt thousands of ios haters are switching and will change camps just like that. I love the internet. (Sarcasm)

That in my mind is what makes it harder to swallow. The folks that ordered early, got confirmation, got the "congratulations" text and then go to backordered. I'll say it again, I think things will change come tomorrow or the next day but this "glitch" in the AT&T system is not helpful.

I ordered by 2:18 CST 18 minutes after the door opened. My email said 14-21 days, and my shipping estimate was Nov9-Nov 22 it moved up this morning to Oct2-Oct13....Heres to hoping they move it up one more to to launch day. I ordered a 128GB SG 6PLUS

Same for me. Pretty sure the people who ordered a 6 plus on or around midnight are showing backorder right now. I would say you're in the best spot for getting one on launch day. I think it's showing backorder because ATT doesn't have any 6+ phones in stock from Apple yet, but will arrive tomorrow or tuesday. The group that says backordered will be the first on the list to get phones assigned to them.

Which is the problem. You want a video game that is high demand, you pre order it. If u walk into the store and try to buy one on launch day what's the first thing they ask you? And if u didn't they tell you sorry better luck next time.

Both myself and my wife's got pushed up from 11/9 - 11/27 to 10/2 - 10/13 today
 
So far it seems that everyone who ordered a 6+ got moved up with one exception. Us in the 10/13-10/22 window went to backordered (who ordered around/a little after 3AM Eastern), those later moved up a slot, and those trying to cheat the system by ordering before 3AM and had an earlier window 10/2 to something bumped down. You shouldn't have ordered before it was officially open... :cool: funny to think about, but I'm hopeful us backordered folk are ok for launch day (oh yeah, and you cheaters).

This is how it happened with iphone 4, and iphone 5 releases...exactly like this.
 
It does appear everyone who back door'd there way into the site prior to the 3am window got pushed back. Glad I waited till the clock struck 3:01AM.

Ordered 7:50AM 9/12 got a date of 10/13-10/22 now back-ordered. Do you think I'll get it earlier? Lol
 
I ordered at 12:03 PST. iPhone 6+ 64GB grey.

It originally showed:
Expected Ship Date: 10/14 - 10/22

but is now showing:
Expected Ship Date: Pending Confirmation

Hopefully that is a good sign?

I don't mean to rain on everyone's parade but I don't believe that any of the carriers were allotted 6 Plus units for launch day. All of the rumors regarding constrained supply of the Plus would indicate that only Apple would have them for launch, which is why you're seeing the late shipping estimates. I hope I'm wrong for everyone's sake but it wouldn't make much sense for Apple to share their limited supply. Again, I hope I'm wrong and that everyone receives their 6 Plus on the 19th.

I ordered before 3:00AM and am still first on the list to get mine. Why would ATT punish people for their mistake. You really think ATT is going to setup their own customers? Imagine the board meeting they had with all the CEOs talking about how they're going to open the preorders up at 2:45am then screw over anyone who ordered before 3am. Didn't happen.

I hope you're correct.

Order complete at 12:04PST, confirmation email from AT&T and hour later. Text message from AT&T, and order now pushed to "Backorder".

Then I expect my iPhone 6 Plus at the actual damn date they gave me.

Is it just possible this is a glitch in their system? Because the lady in the store said 2-4 weeks but November is much longer than that.
 
Hell yes, my shipping date just moved up 2 weeks. 10/2 to 10/13 now.

64 GB 6+ Gold for me. Ordered at 3:01am EDT 9/12.
