Same problem. I gave up. Some things make me wonder........

Moving on. Does anyone think being east coast puts us at a disadvantage pre order wise? Since people in Cali for example were able to order for 3 hours before we were?

They weren't able to order before, it was 12PST vs 3EST, same time, different zones.

Updated AT&T Status

Totally agree that the Apple Store POS has proven more reliable in past iPhone purchases (esp. at initial launch). I wasn't able to order my (2 x 6 Plus, 128GB, Gold phones) until after 9am EST on 9/12, and initially the ship date was between 11/3-11/27 in a "Preparing to ship" status.

As of this afternoon (9/14, 3pm EST), the ship date changed to 10/31-11/11. I expected this to occur since many "cats" cancelled their AT&T orders and as the system updates, the dates become more solidified. What's interesting to me though is that the very first post to this thread, the user said he purchased within the first 27 mins, and he has the same ship date (10/31-11/11). Again, just interesting. I'm optimistic that the phones will ship by this date or perhaps earlier. I've played this game many times before and even though the dates change or the status says "backordered", all of a sudden on the day prior the phones are available at the store, the status pops and the tracking number is available.

So earlier this morning mine said In Progress with Processing status. Now mine changed back to Preparing for Shipment with 9/17-9/18 shipment dates.

Took the words out of my mouth.

Rep asked a legitimate question.

On a side note, there needs to be a sticky on the difference between a "HOLD" and a "CHARGE" on your account. Both affect your account the same way but mean two different things.

He wasn't rude and the rep didn't ask a legitimate question he asked a dumb question. He said his card was charged already, the rep asked "for the full amount?" I mean, unless att makes a habit of doing partial charges?

Either way he said "of course" apparently you guys have some thin skin/are too sensitive. Same folks that find it "offensive" when a comedian makes an "Indian" joke. Sigh. I digress.

So how about that jailbreak ...

To all those who had shipping dates for 9/17-9/18 that suddenly disappeared, mine are finally back and my status is preparing to ship. Can't wait for friday!

Ordered at midnight PST on the dot, 64GB iPhone 6. ATT's status page said "between Oct 13 and 31". I checked again last night and it changed to Sept 17-18 for my ship date.

Anyone seeing a trend here? As I've been saying. If you ordered a 6, your chances of getting it on the 19th are all but certain. I'll be impressed when someone shows confirmation of a 6+ arriving on time :p

The ATT rep was probably wondering if the charges in the account were full charges, or the $1 charges they use for whatever they use it for.

Last time I checked I had 5 of those $1 charges on my CC.

Went from Expected Ship Date: 09/17/2014 To 09/18/2014 this morning to Pending Confirmation & back to Expected Ship Date: 09/17/2014 To 09/18/2014 this evening.LOL AT&T

I just spoke to Att customer care and they said that none of their iPhone 6+ preorders are shipping till November now.

Stirring the pot are we? Do I sense a prepubescent teen or an android user? Both perhaps? :p

Yes, trolls need to eat too!

I ordered a 6 Plus; ever since I got my confirmation texts Friday evening I've been in a state if "preparing to ship," even though the estimated ship dates were 10/31-11/11 yesterday and revised to 10/13-10/21 today.

Love your positive attitude. Pre-ordered 16 and 64 GB phones and got one tracking number earlier, I assume for the one listed on AT&T as pending shipment while the other is still backordered (status on both orders changed before noon today).

Do I sense sarcasm there? :)

I preordered at 3:05 EST, so obviously I would love to have my phone show up on the 19th. I still think there is a chance it might. If it doesn't, I can say with a fair amount of certainty, I won't be throwing myself in front of a car, or calling AT&T or Apple to tell them how much I think they s**k. I'll deal and wait until it show. I will be green with envy though, at those who do get theirs.

I would bet my life savings that most people who ordered the 6+ within the first two hours get it on the 19th. Been with AT&T a long time and been pre ordering phones any chance I get.

I am still unclear as to why anybody calls to an AT&T customer service center for information on their order this early on. They are only going to be able to see what you can see. People calling in are forcing these reps to provide information they simply do not have. Hence, the information they provide is a best guess on their part. I read earlier of a guy who called four times. Three of those four times, he was told that the shipping information was accurate. The fourth rep told him he would get his phone on 9/19. He chose to believe the 9/19 because that is what he wanted to believe.

Bottom line is nobody should be taking much stock in what the AT&T reps say for the next week. Let it all sort out and give the reps a break.

Dare I point you to the academic "bell curve" as cited regarding intelligence quotient....

I preordered a gray 128 gig, 6+ at 12:05am pst... was 10/13-10/22 originally... then backordered all day today... just changed back to 10/13-10/22

interesting...

I ordered the same 128GB SG 6+ at ~11:55PM PST and same thing happened. My 128GB Silver 6+, which I ordered a few mins later, moved up from 11/7-11/29 to 10/13-10/22. So, bit showing same date now.

My question for you is how does your UPS recognize that order as being yours without having entered a tracking number given to you by AT&T?

However, this is good news for me as well seeing as I ordered the same model as you and have the same shipping status through AT&T.

When you sign up it asks you to input your home address (this is assuming that's the same address your phone is being shipped to) once you complete the verification process, ups automatically detects any shipping label created to your home address. I signed up and ups choice sent me a notice maybe 1 hour later displaying the same thing. 9/19 delivery.
This is for iPhone 6 - 64gb Gold

You're joking right...

I really don't think anyone but Apple has 6 Plus units available for launch day.

And if they did, they're probably waiting for midweek to release them to other carriers. Probably as an effort to prevent early releases/product from slipping out.

This is OT, but the McDonald's incident was not "shamefully winning" anything. We studied this case extensively in business law class, and the negligence was on McDonald's part. ;)

So u mean to tell me.. That a lady burning herself on a drink that has been made and served hot since the beginning of time, has merit? Or was it the first time she's had coffee?

Was she black? Or already rich? Perhaps a trailer dweller? I'm sure I'll get flack for pandering to "stereotypes" but if I'm being honest... Had this been me.....

I would have certainly cussed at the coffee.. And myself. Had it been that bad I would have even went to the hospital. Woulda been a lesson learned even... The very very very last thing that would have ever IF EVER crossed my mind would have been to try and sue mcdonalds. Sorry, she should be ashamed. Some people live to find an easy buck. I wouldn't put it past her spilling it on herself. Unless in your class it was determined the mcdonalds people actually spilled it on her or gave it to her with an unattached lid. Even then it's iffy.

Sorry, tactless - baseless - classless - and CERTAINLY not worth millions of dollars lol. If that's the case I should look for a way to cut off a finger. Surely that has to be worth more.

But seriously.. This isn't the thread for it, however id love to know if their was aaaaaaany information that even existed that could change my perspective on this. Surely nothing I can think of. To be fair I heard about this after the fact and certainly didnt "investigate" so to speak.
