The ATT rep was probably wondering if the charges in the account were full charges, or the $1 charges they use for whatever they use it for.
Last time I checked I had 5 of those $1 charges on my CC.
I would bet my life savings that most people who ordered the 6+ within the first two hours get it on the 19th. Been with AT&T a long time and been pre ordering phones any chance I get.
Just checked. Shipping in myATT and ATT Premier both say 10/13-10-22 now instead of November.
Quite honestly, and total speculation, I see that moving up to end of Sept-1st week of Oct.
iPhone 6+ 128GB Space Gray.
They were serving coffee at 190 degrees.
A "piping hot" drink is usually palatable starting around 140F, and most people still consider it hot down to about 110F.
They were serving it easily 50 degrees hotter than anyone could humanly tolerate.
That's why they lost the case.
She had 3rd degree burns down her legs. It literally melted her skin off in about 7 seconds.

OK now we can bring it back on topic.
I would like to "think" no one would call asking about that dollar LOL. Which is what I think he was getting at. Perhaps I'm giving too much credit : p

What about first 4 hours?![]()
I hope you guys know that just be UPS receives the request for a label, doesn't mean it's going to be shipped. The label is made when the order is placed automatically.
Just FYI.
So u mean to tell me.. That a lady burning herself on a drink that has been made and served hot since the beginning of time, has merit? Or was it the first time she's had coffee?
Was she black? Or already rich? I'm sure I'll get flack for pandering to "stereotypes" but if I'm being honest... Had this been me.
I would have certainly cussed at the coffee.. And myself. Had it been that bad I would have even went to the hospital. Woulda been a lesson learned even... The very very very last thing that would have ever IF EVER crossed my mind would have been to try and sue mcdonalds. Sorry, she should be ashamed. Some people live to find an easy buck. I wouldn't put it past her spilling it on herself. Unless in your class it was determined the mcdonalds people actually spilled it on her or gave it to her with an unattached lid. Even then it's iffy.
Sorry, tactless - baseless - classless - and CERTAINLY not worth millions of dollars lol. If that's the case I should look for a way to cut off a finger. Surely that has to be worth more.
But seriously.. This isn't the thread for it, however id love to know if their was aaaaaaany information that even existed that could change my perspective on this. Surely nothing I can think of. To be fair I heard about this after the fact and certainly didnt "investigate" so to speak.

AT&T only prints a label when they allocate a physical phone to your order.
It's true that it doesn't go out right away, and it could sit in their warehouse for any number of hours/days, but the label is only printed when they match a serial number to your order.

You're actually unlikely to find anything that doesn't say she was justified in her lawsuit.

the coffee was over 180 degrees... third degree burns in 2-7 seconds at that temp. Home made coffee runs about 135-140. And it is generally to hot to drink immediately. They were negligent. Period.
If that was the case wouldn't everyone have a UPS MY Choice label showing up that pre-ordered?
getting the phone at the end of September/early October would be a pretty sweet surprise. For 6 Pluses.
I'm not sure how this thread went from the topic of AT&T preorder status for Iphone orders to a discussion of McDonalds lawsuits, but it's getting a bit annoying. Take it to a McDonalds forum if you really want to keep arguing about it.
Everyone here is already under enough stress! ;-)

My order says preparing to ship but my shipping date is 10/31-11/11. Is this good news that I will get it sooner. I ordered a 6+ 64gb space gray
I ordered my 128gb iPhone 6+ Gold 3 minutes before the actual pre-order start (11:58PM. Pre-orders started at 12:01)
From the get go on the order page it told me it would be 14-21 day shipping, which I thought was extremely weird since there was no way it was backordered before it even began. Everyone else seemed to have problems getting through, but I was able to go through smoothly, check out, and get confirmation e-mail.
My status kept saying "Processing" every time I checked it up until a second ago when I just checked it, but now it says "Preparing to ship" with a 11/09 - 11/27 window
oh heck no.
How can they be preparing to ship it if it won't ship for 2 months? Close one box flap every other week?
Hopefully it's all just an unorganized system and I get it on launch. !
