Updated my CC info over the automated system though....seems they have changed my order date from the 12th to the 13th now!
Shipping has estimated date of 11/9-11/27!!! So pissed
I now have two charges from ATT on my card!?
One for $299 & $325.86...waiting for 7am to speak with someone.

WOW. Did you order the 6 or the 6+, if that's the 6 that's just unacceptable. I mean it's unacceptable regardless, but usually only the 6+s are going that far back. That's ridiculous.

Hoping it stays that way. Good luck to everyone. I really believe that most of us will get our phones on the 19th.
 
Hmm... My wife's phone that was ordered about 15 min after my phone on the 12th between 3:01am to 3:30am has a ship date from 11/9 to 11/27. Early on the order process I had to fix a CC issue with ATT and I asked about my wife's order because there was no info with her order unlike my order. When I asked the CS rep told me the order was awaiting review because they were so busy. When I look at the order status for the both orders they have her phone ordered on the 13th now. double hmm...
 
Based on the fact that I ordered mine right when the site opened, and has slipped BACK in shipping date while others have moved forward... And the fact that my credit card has been charged...

Possibly AT&T's shipping dates are generated completely randomly...

My shipping date says November and I'm okay with that. It sure beats sitting in line with a bunch of crazies at the mall waiting on a blue shirt Apple Store dork that makes 15 times less money than me ordering me around because they feel empowered selling Apple products.
 
To those of you worried about the lack of a shipping email: I ordered my 5 through Premier (FAN) around the time they went live and never received a shipping email the following week but I received it on release day. Their systems are just too bogged down.

Swore that I'd always go with Apple.com for pre-orders, but like many of you, the site wasn't loading and the idea of placing an order with AT&T and getting to go back to sleep was too great. Losing two more hours would have been worth the smoother order status process though I think.

No need to insult the Apple employees. They "order people around" because the place is usually a crowded madhouse and they have to get people in queues for assistance.
 
My 128GB Space Gray 6 is shipping the 17th or 18th, according to AT&T. I ordered about 4:15 AM on Friday morning, after trying for 5 minutes to do it via Apple.

This... There is just no possible way that anyone has a november ship date since you can go in a store, order now and get a guaranteed ship date before that right now.

While I don't like this shipping system at all and it should be addressed I think people are getting way too upset over a random date generator that is clearly way off.

I would call back and try to talk to someone else. Last year, I had a problem with overpayment with my 5s order and they were able to fix it on the spot before I even knew my phone was shipped to me. I know things can change in a year, however it should change that much.
 
Calm down, We should see Shipping updates change today through Wednesday....im not saying everyone will Receive their phones on friday, but you will get accurate shipping dates THIS WEEK. don't worry about what the systems says.
 
K you guys are taking this shipping stuff way too seriously.. I think it would be awful for Apple or a carrier company to open up a pre order window only to run out of phones within an hour or two..

I'd say if you ordered within that time frame you should get your phone when apple said it was going to be released.

My story is Midnight PST checked apple and att sites. I had to do mine through att since it was an early next upgrade but my dad's contract was up so we wanted to do his through apple site since it's usually more reliable based on prior experience.

Couldn't get att site to check for my upgrade eligibility kept crashing due to traffic. Apple site was not even open yet so I decided to open the apple store app and sure enough it let me order my dad's, but only the 128gb iphone 6 showed available, around 1210am PST. Got his done, got confirmation from apple.

I couldn't get through att site and it went down again around 1230am with the waiting in line page. But at that time I was almost through placing the order putting my card number and their site wouldn't accept it. Once the other window I opened on att site came back to normal and not on the waiting page I was able to go forward with the order on the other page I was almost done with. It was 12:46am PST. I got charged the early upgrade immediately and $1 as well.

By this time I also noticed my dad's line upgrade was done with a new contract date as well. I did not receive a confirmation email from att until 4:44am PST. I am a premier member, anyways, it said both order status and shipping as pending.

Just today Sunday at 11:44am PST I got charged for the tax I owed. I logged back in to order Status and it says estimated date 11/9 to 11/27 shipping.

My dad's iphone from apple is good to go for the 19th. Now I seriously doubt att is gonna take 2+ months to ship my phone. With the next upgrade they also said I have to ship the phone back to them within 30 days with a box they'll send me.

If you wanna go ahead and cancel the att order better for others but like I said if you placed the order within the first hour or 2 you should be ok otherwise shame on these carriers.. big time..

Have you ever participated in a launch before? Last year, the gold version of the phone wasn't even at the Apple Store for launch. 100s of people lining up, and my store only got 3 silver iphone 5s. There was 1 64GB gold phone, but that was it. AT&T stores only got space gray models.

They absolutely take preorders without the phone being available at launch.

They also take preorders sight unseen. You cannot even go to an apple store now to check out the phones prior to buying.
 
Have the UPS deal where any time something is being sent to you, they email you to let you know. Got one this morning for a package that was supposedly processed on Friday with 1 day business delivery. Current delivery date is tomorrow but we'll see if they put the hold on it.
 
My iPhone 6, 64GB Space Grey (Ordered 10AM EST Friday) has been updated with an estimated shipping date of 9/23 - 10/2.

It was originally 10/13-10/31.
 
I pre-ordered my iPhone 6 plus and it said the order was being processed just fine, but apparently if the credit card you use doesn't have the same billing zip code as your ATT account, you get an email the next day telling you the order can't be processed until you call them and update your card info and if you don't do it by 9/20 the order will be cancelled. So I did that and gave them a new card # and now it says the order is being processed, yet I still have yet to see any kind of hold on my account. The email says that funds will be held immediately, yet I see no holds from AT&T on my account at all. Has anyone else not seen any holds on there account yet either?
