which case is thinner? e13ctron or the atomic?

Well they are both pretty thin. The e13 is thinner all the way around because the atomic has the cap with the notches on both ends. It's pretty close really. They are both good cases but after having them both for a little while I would give the edge to the atomic just because of performance. It has better wifi range, 3G speed is a little better too but signal they are almost identical. They are both good cases. It's a no loose situation in my eyes. Atomic will have an edge when they start selling caps so you will be able to can have a variety of different colors.
 
Thanks for the reply. Looks like ill check out the atomic. Although im really curious to see what element has in store for there hybrid. I emailed them yesterday so im hoping for a response soon. Id just like to know if they have an eta on it releasing

I guess I spoke to soon. Checked the order status page tonight on atomic website and it is still processing. Sent a email and they responded that now it would ship on Friday. Getting kind of P**sed with this order.:(:(

Well well, at least they responded. Maybe they just too short of manpower. Hope they would be effective one day.
 
Carbon back from atomic

Has anyone put just the carbon back only on there phone? If so any problems with coming off without the case on the phone? Thanks

I've always had the case on with it, but I dont think it peeling off accidentally would be much of an issue - unless you're constantly putting it in and out of a pocket, in which case I'd wager it would likely peel back.

That sucks man, sorry to hear it. At least you got a response from them. I've emailed several times now and still have yet to hear anything. My order status still says processing and it's now been 13 business days since I placed my order. I don't want to cancel my order as I've already waited this long and I really like this case, I just hope I don't have any problems with it as I'd rather not deal with this service again.

AtomicEscalations@gmail.com was put into place specifically for things of that nature...or so I've been told. Can't emphasize enough folks I'm just repeating the stuff I was told: I haven't had to use it either way, nor do I have any personal responsibility for it.

Yeah, I emailed that address on Monday morning and haven't heard a peep. Kind of frustrating when others on here say they are getting responses within 30 minutes. Scelzifan got his black/gunmetal combo on Monday, though I'm not sure when he placed his order. I'm mainly just upset that there has been ZERO return contact from them. When I ordered I thought for sure it would ship before 10 days but was able to accept the fact that it might be 10 days before shipping, now that it's been over 13, I'm kinda upset. Oh well, guess I'll keep waiting somewhat patiently, not much else I can do at this point. :mad:

My advice is keep on emailing atomicescalations@gmail.com, after several days trying, I've got responded and solved my problems finally. Mines will ship today or tomorrow latest.
 
Well wouldn't you know I resend my message from earlier this week and within 5-10 minutes I get a response (not from the escalations email but from the sales one). At least they'll be sending a new one and all I have to do is mail the old one back.

I resent my email to the escalations address about an hour ago and just got a response saying "ships tomorrow Bryan." Well at least I finally received an answer, sucks I had to wait darn near 3 weeks for it to ship though. Hopefully I'll get a tracking number for it, now I just have to wait for the Fed-Ex truck to arrive.

Why do you need yours replaced maverick?

There's a gap on the bottom of the case and one of the screws doesn't go in right.

I guess Atomic is waiting on Friday to ship everyone's case. We should get it before Christmas.
 
I'm so disappointed with their CS. I've emailed them 7times, both sales@atomiciphonecase.com and atomicescalations@gmail.com. Only got one reply saying they would solve it the next day, but they didn't and started ignoring my emails again. I've placed two orders both paid, but after 4 days waiting none of them confirmed, in order status they were both "awaiting payment". Since I've called PAYPAL and confirmed my payments are succeed. I had never thought it would be so hard to get one Atomic Hybrid, right now i just feel like i don't want any of atomic cases, really.

I am getting the same feeling. Ordered on Dec. 3, Atomic took the money from my credit card the same day. Sunday this case was suppose to be box and awaiting scan. Wednesday it was suppose to ship on Friday.:mad::mad: Just checked the order status: still processing & Partially Shipped.
 
I emailed them earlier today asking if the new case they were sending me would have tracking info. A byproduct of that conversation was that the person told me they were "all in ship mode" working on 3300 orders. Seems like a heck of a lot of orders but who knows if it's actually the case.
 
They keep giving me the run around. Every time i ask them to cancel my order they say it has shipped. When I ask for a tracking number they say they will get back to me but never do.

I asked them why it didnt update on their site and they said they are changing systems so it wont show. I call BS

What a joke. Their customer service blows. And the fact that they are lying makes they credibility go down the toilet.

There seems to be something wrong with their website, but they did tell almost everyone who ordered recently will ship on Thursday or Friday latest. Hope they will kept their promises. I'm not able to get my tracking number, not sure whether shipped or not, emailed not responded yet. Hopefully they would try their best to fix these problems. Everyone likes their cases deserves a happy ending.

I have to agree on similar in size, with the exception of the top and bottom of the Atomic is chunkier/taller. I can dock/charge the e13ctron case in a Griffin Power Duo, without dock inserts and without the need for a 30pin extender. The Atomic will require the adapter. They are indeed both good cases, with no cellular reception impact and no noticeable gps impact, in my area. Here are a few pictures of my phone in the atomic and the wife's with a purple/purple combo e13ctron.
