Did anyone get SS Space Black 42mm from best buy?
It is showing estimated ship date of Dec 7 as of now.

That one has been a hard one to get. I actually wanted that model originally and ended up going with the aluminum 42mm.
i ordered a series 2 42mm space grey from best buy's website on wednesday morning and it was delivered to me this morning, 2 days later... within an hour after ordering it, the product listing, not my actual order, said it was backordered with a 3-4 week delivery time frame. i checked the product listing the day after i ordered it and the availability went from 3-4 week backorder back to available with a 2 day shipping turnaround. i checked this morning and it still said available and have it shipped in 2 days.
Glad it worked out for you and hope you're enjoying your watch! I should be too by Monday or Tuesday! I'm just never going to deal with Best Buy again. Consistently, the worst retail experiences I've ever had have been with Best Buy. They're now on my banned list along with Walmart.
Just got notification that the 42mm space grey aluminum Apple Watch Series 2 I ordered on the 19 is here for pickup.
Lucky duck! I ordered the same watch on the 18th and they pushed my pickup date until the 25th.
I checked a few models in Canada and it looks like Nov. 28 for in store p/u and 3/4 weeks for delivery ordering online. That makes it nearly 2-1/2 months after the "launch" date. Why announce it so early if you can't supply? I don't get it anymore.
One of the advantages of the long wait times is that it gives you time to reconsider. I ordered an aluminium 38mm series 2 last Monday, thought it through during the week, and have now cancelled the order. When they refund I'll order a stainless one instead, as I'm confident a glass display on my wrist would be smashed in fairly short order, whereas the sapphire display on the stainless one will likely live longer...
Huh? I thought the glass on the stainless steel is more prone to shattering than that of the aluminum?
Ordered SS 42mm Series 2 with classic brown buckle from Apple yesterday morning, went to processing for dispatch yesterday afternoon and was dispatched today with UPS to be delivered on Monday. Not bad at all
I just checked this and every other SS model and for Canada it is 3-4 weeks to ship or P/U Nov. 29.
Well mine is scheduled to arrive on Monday so less than two working days from when i placed the order. I am astounded to be honest because when i ordered, it was quoted at 3 to 4 weeks delivery but went to Processing for dispatch within a few hours
Last night, I ordered a Sport 42mm Series 2 SG with the mesh band for my husband & he ordered the Sport 42mm Series 2 Gold with the "coffee" mesh band for me. Both say Nov 18 - 28th.
I lucked out. Using the Apple website I had been checking on availability for the 42 mm stainless steel link black. All 12 stores in my vicinity had been showing availability November 14th, then November 18th. Now they are showing November 29th. But to my amazement the Infinite Loop Store in Cupertino had one! Picked it up an hour later. The store guys told me it's just hit and miss; totally unpredictable.

I think that order times are all over the place. When I ordered it said 3 to 4 weeks delivery so i was pleasantly surprised when the status changed on the same day.
But it took me for weeks to get my hands on a ceramic.
Mind you, Apple are saying Monday but UPS are saying Wednesday for my SS. It still in China at the moment so I am not sure that it will be here by Monday
Stopped my the Apple Store today. One 42 MM Silver with white band available. I picked it up real quick.
42mm SS with white sport band here. Not really in a rush. It'll get here when it gets here. 3-4 weeks is the quote but I've seen others receiving this model a lot faster, so we'll see. No stores within hundreds of miles of me have stock of this one though. I learned the hard way its not worth jumping the gun just to get it early, as much as I love my 256GB 7 Plus (128 was out of stock), its costing me an extra £5 per month for extra storage that I don't really need.
Well, the 25th has come and gone with Best Buy now saying my order will be available this Sunday the 30th. I have no doubt that on Sunday I'll receive an email that says my order was delayed and my new pickup date will be xxx.
While I'm absolutely frustrated and annoyed with Best Buy's horrible handling of estimates, knowing it is to keep people hanging on and not to cancel their order, I am more annoyed with Apple. This was a birthday gift from my wife and while I've never been an early adopter of tech, I never thought that on October 14th, a month after a product was released, I would have to go through this.
Selling less Watches than they did a year ago aren't they? Can't meet demand despite that? Pretty shameful really. Glad I didn't get my hopes up falsely. Never bothered to order. Still see no reason to try.
From what I hear AW sales are down like 70% from this time last year. The main reason is that Apple has few to sell. Waiting times are late Nov and many lose patience and cancel. If Apple wants to sell watches they need to get them ready by Christmas!
My sons SS42 Series 2 with brown classic band arrived today. Not bad considering I only ordered it for him last Friday. Shipped on Friday straight from the factory in china via ups
