You honestly shouldn't care what ram the phone actually has in it - there's a reason Apple never tells you on stage because it's irrelevant.
Unless you like your safari tabs to not have to reload constantly

Got my order in for an iPhone 11 Pro Max-Space Grey, launch day delivery!

Or they like the colorNo surprise there. People subconsciously always buy what’s different to show they have the newest model.
You forgot the seconds as wellWow. Didn’t think they would slip that quick. Got my 256g mid green pro for launch day right at 8:02. Interesting to see how quick the other colors slip.
Because it would only cause problems if u let people pre-order something without paying any money up front. People would be ordering “just in case” they might be able to have the money on launch. And if they didn’t..oh well.
My guess not for a while, if they allowed reserving with no skin in the game, there would be so many no shows restricting inventory from ready customers money in hand
tell that to millions of fans of the metal gear solid video game seriesMidnight Green was the worst colour - in fact the worst coloured iPhone ever.
What’s more important? Shelter or the newest iPhone? Can sleep anywhere but can’t be seen w last year’s model. One week’s mortgage payment for an iPhone that’ll last 5 years... quite the bargain if you ask me.
Or they like the color
ATT still has all models in 11 and 11 Max in all colors delivering 9/20.I got the 256 GB Silver iPhone 11 Pro Max. I'm excited for it. The camera and longer battery was the selling point for me.
I was bummed about the green. I don't care for that shade but I know a lot of people really like it. It reminds me too much of olive drab.
What makes you think OP is buying an iPhone instead of paying the mortgage? If someone can afford a $6,000 monthly mortgage, I have a hunch they can afford a $1,500 iPhone. What’s more important? Shelter or the newest iPhone? Can sleep anywhere but can’t be seen w last year’s model.
#1 - Not identical.
#2 - because you turn around and sell last year's model for about 80% of your total cost. Makes an annual purchase just a couple hundred bucks.[/QUOTE
Hello, exactly what I have been doing for years, last time I paid full price for an iPhone was the first one I brought....
Same thing every year with people judging what other people spend their money on. Why?
Likely both. This pattern seems to repeat itself every single year. Either Apple are very cautious with their initial production batches, or they just create an artificial supply scarcity meant to encourage more sales later on.
In 2015 Apple sold 231 million iphones. In 2018 they sold 217 million phones. Their global market share has been falling. Because they will only come out with 5G capable phones next year or later, some of the people who would have upgraded this year might sit it out. Goldman Sachs earlier today reduced Apple's price target by 27%. I think Apple will continue to do well in the US, but not so much world wide particularly in the growth markets of China and India.Thats why you never know what people want. EVERYONE its the same phone it will have no demand blah blah blah, the average consumer doesn't watch Youtube reviewers rate phones nor do they know what may or may not be coming in 2020. They seen this phone and said I want it and ordered it. Sorry just bothers me when we as individuals try and speak for the masses.
