Just used my iPhone for 45 minutes music in gym, still 100%

Gotta love having no buggy push connections draining your battery:rolleyes::apple:

4S is rated at 40hrs music play back on apple spec sheet which mean it should lose in theory 3.125% listening to 45minutes of music.

Wow. from my calculation you suffered 0% loss in 45min. Which plotting on my graph shows you will have infinite or lifelong battery life! Off the charts! That or, the % gauge isn't too accurate.

The battery gauge isn't perfectly linear. For a fully charged phone, it takes longer to drop from 100 to 99 than from 80 to 79. It also takes longer to drop from 1 to fully depleted.

who ever in this thread has good battery please tell me which iphone 4s is it ?

16/32/64 ?

i heard that their is different space could get different battery issue on each iphone ?

I only posted my music % because people are dropping % without doing ANYTHING at all in that time

Wifi only. Heavy use with iMessage, Safari, Siri, Random Apps, and iTunes Match:D

LOL I have a 2GB plan thank you very much. I go school outside the US (home country). So when I'm here, I just keep it on wifi to iMessage mostly, some AT&T international app calls.

So you should use iPod touch but your parents are so rich they just bought you the iPhone. I get it

Some people are richer to afford an iPhone =] it only really cost 1-2 dollars a day to own one over the course of 2yr contract. Still cheaper than smoking a pack a day or starbucks coffee every morning.

Mostly wifi brightness 60%, mostly web surfing music playing...Ping, time zone was enabled.. Used Facebook app..

No you jackass. I still live in the US, I go back back every 8 weeks. And in 3 more weeks, I'll be back in the US for good to start my 3rd year of Med School. What do you do with your life? Aren't you supposed to be fighting for my freedom to own an iPhone? ;)

I mean if you want to get technical, I can use any of these for what I need it for overseas. But I like using Siri... U Mad Bro?

Whelp. Came from Android to iOS. Got my 4s yesterday. Have icloud on just to back up contacts. Have 1 gmail+calendar account. Only other thing I've done is browse random apps and used Maps for a few deliveries (as a pizza guy). Moreover, last night the phone was at 86 when I went to bed and was at 64 when I woke up.

Other circumstances is that my carrier says "extended" at home, but still has decent service. Wifi at home as well. Restored and started as new phone as well. Nothing. /help

Your white iPhone's screen look very yellow

Glad to see this thread has'nt taken a turn for the worse... sigh.

Anyways, my iPad 1.0 WiFi has had great batterylife for weeks both with 5.0 and 5.0.1 but suddenly drained 50% over night and now is just as bad as my phone (about 5% an hour).

Turned off locations but did not help. Also rebooted several times, tried turning on airplane mode but not looking like it's helping which I find strange.

Good advice. And you don't be such a douchebag, it's just the Internet :D

You probably have an App that is hanging. You might have to restore.

Battery life is just fine on my 4S. Had wifi on, push email, streamed pandora, listened to a podcast, checked mail, and browsed the web. With this battery life I can't see myself ever worrying about needing to charge my phone before crashing for the night.
