While listening today around noon PST I had many loops that occurred where the broadcast would jump back about 30 seconds.

Did anyone else get this problem?
Yep, a few times. Was very confusing, especially since it only seemed to happen during speaking parts (for me, anyway). It stopped happening later in the afternoon.
Me too, same error now! :( The streaming service still works at least.

Yup. Back up!

Back up but has lost the option to play through airplay. All other stations play through my airplay speakers. Beats1 only plays through the computer speakers. At least through iTunes on the Mac. iPad and iPhone can play through airplay.

Also, I am having no love when trying to "add songs to my music."

I'm cool with B1 censoring. I just enjoy uncensored more.
Me too. I love eminem... But alas. Too much cursing for my blood. Listening to Penominal edited was wonderful. But that was only once... Since Apple Music only has the explicit one on it.

been listening to beats 1 all day. it's awesome. need to go get some new bluetooth speakers for my mac. apple really out did themselves this time. i'm seeing the kids are loving beats 1 too, so cool how they've brought radio stations back and renewed for this new generation.

Did they remove ratings on iOS? And maybe in a few minutes on iTunes too?!
Scanned the thread here but didn't see a reply....
Only used in my iPad so far, but this is freaking me out. I don't see my star either! Is this for real? I use those ratings for all sorts of filters and playlists.

I'm sure this has been mentioned in this thread but its doing my head in... every five seconds they keep yelling that beats is "always on" "live 24/7" as if other radio stations aren't on 24/7.... Its not a unique selling point!

its as bad as on tv when they advertise the channel & show your currently in the middle of watching...

That's modern radio, mate. It's sad really. That's why nobody listens to it anymore.

Re: 2. Live video

Why not do this? Just because it's "radio" doesn't mean it has to apply the rules of 1942.

I think live video will add a futuristic feel and I rather see that than artwork from the last played.

BTW anyone know what song was playing during the first hour with the female rapper?!!
Lack of song history is irritating!!!

There is song history... but Ill let you figure out that one.

(Hint, type in Zane Lowe in search of the app)

Now stop being so irritated and irritating.

I liked the few minutes I listened to Tuesday. It was kind of amusing in the evening (Eastern Time) when Selena Gomez's latest song was on. One of the guys on the air was saying something like, "She all grown up!" It sounds like a good mix of stuff to listen to when I get tired of what I have -- you know, most of the frickin' iTunes database!

It is still there, it just has to be added to your music library, and smart filters still update with everything like normal

Is it normal in us and uk radio to talk so much into the music? Really annoying.

Unfortunately, yes. In the UK at least 'talking up to the vocals' at the start of a record is considered an essential skill for a DJ, and they do it all the time, even over things that they should be told are an exception at DJ school, such as the intro to "Sweet Child O'mine".

And then informing everyone you "Had a beer with this guy at Glastonbury last week" or something else no-one is the slightest bit interested in, over the last 20 seconds or so. They do it all the time, one of the reasons I gave up on UK radio, and I gave up on Beats 1 when Lowe started doing it yesterday.
