Now playing a heavily censored version of Dre's Let It Ride. Why even play it since every other world gets censored?

"our genre is great"

This is awesome. Feeling globally connected right now. Internet radio has been around forever but not this unified, this focused, backed by a great company and DJs. Great job so far Zane Lowe...Let Me Ride.

Zane keeps telling us where to find the schedule... but I can't find it! He just says to 'tap on Beats 1'. Yeah, where the hell is that exactly? I am guessing in iTunes for Mac or PC, but of course... iTunes 12.2 hasn't been released yet.

Uh. This stream is censored? Useless. This is ridiculous. What a shame.
You're trolling, right?

Apple is clearly trying to mimic BBC Radio 1. It will be a good place to discovery new music but probably the average listener will revert to specific genre stations.

Yep, gave it a few minutes, but definitely R1 feel about it, and with Lowe talking over the music, not really for me. I'll dip in an out a few times to see if it grows on me, but i'll probably drop out for the same reasons I gave up on Radio 1.

LOL....he's talking over the last 30 seconds of Let Me Ride. WTF....people are tuning in to hear music, not hear him talk over songs.

Simply click on "Radio" in the Music app and scroll down a little. It's there!

You need to update your mac, is available now
Been there done that 45 minutes ago. iTunes 12.2 was not updated to my current version. I did a full software update which required a restart. The upgrade notes didn't even mention anything about Music or an iTunes update. Not good Apple. Update all your products at once. Not everyone has an iDevice. I do, but not everyone does.

I think some of you are missing the point of the "radio DJ" aspect of Beats1... I'm not saying that anyone is supposed to love hearing Zane Lowe talk over the tracks, but the reality is that the radio station(s) is basically just a fancy 'sampler' of what is available on iTunes.. you like what you hear on their radio, you go listen/buy stream the entire track or album later.

I guess people don't listen to BBC radio one? They talk over the music all the time.

My thoughts listening since launch:

1) Zane Lowe is amazing, and I have missed him in my ear holes while I work - Usually to BBC Radio One
2) The Clean Stream is an interesting choice - especially since Dr. Dre has been outspoken about lyrical edits/chops to make it radio friendly.
3) I haven't been a fan of every song played, but the fact is this last hour and a half has been curated so well, you can't help but enjoy it. A little bit of everything, and it is just mixed well to fit together. The Art of the DJ has returned.
4) The Sound Quality is amazing - Even on LTE.

I am hooked.

Oh, right! I assumed tapping on that would just re-start the stream (or start it if you weren't listening). The UI is a bit confusing.

Boo, error code 403 for the last 30 mins trying to jump onto the stream. restarting didnt help. I can stream music just cant listen to the radio.

With the main three DJs, its showing them as doing two shows a day, 12 hours apart. Are they two different live shows, or is one a repeat?

What they could really do with is a listen again feature, so you can listen to shows after they have broadcast.
