My s7 edge is easily the worst android phone I've ever owned. Touchwiz is terrible. Nexus is the only way to go

Got myself a Nexus 6p after hearing the news of the lack of a headphone jack on the new iPhone. Never going back to iPhone again unless Tim Cook and everyone else pull their heads out of their asses.

You do realize that most cars made before 2007 did not have a USB port or Bluetooth right? So super small? No. I would wager at least 50% of the population.

You do realize that it's 2016 now, right? Why not just complain because Apple doesn't give you a free adapter to work on 8-track?

Also, sorry, but if you don't have a car newer than one from 2007, then perhaps spending $650+ on a brand new iPhone 7 shouldn't be your priority right now.

Great, buy an adapter so we can use an adapter with the adapter ;) (3.5mm to lighting for us with "regular" headphones)

Im all for innovation and if that means we move on from an old style connector to something that will benefit us thats great i'll adapt. But for gods sake ... can't they make this adapter smaller? Thats huge! If they had stacked them on top of each other instead of placing them side by side. Or at least trim down the width because that thing looks to be as wide as the phone itself? for 2 small connectors???? come on ... really?

The entire idea of adapters is just so off putting. I think either you buy in to the wireless world apple is creating or you don't. To need a cable, to plug in 2 other cables...just awful.

Do you also carry the massive extension cable needed to charge your phone from an outlet while going down the street?

Really... If you are charging and listening, you're not walking anyway. And if you're using an external battery then this won't make much difference as you already have a hassle as to where to put the battery while you're walking.
I will assume the joke was lost on you. Just to listen to your phone you will need about 50 feet of dongles.

Great suggestion! Which Android phones run iOS?

None, thank god. I like being able to customize things to my liking, have a file browser, adjust lock screens, flash ROMs if I want even.

I don't live in a world where it's Apple's way only.

Great suggestion! Which Android phones run iOS?

What about iOS is important to you? Unlike iOS, you can change the launcher/gui on Android. And there are Android launchers available that copy every version of iOS. Pick your favourite iOS version and your Android phone will look just like it.

Can two users plug their Lightning headphones into it at the same time and share the audio?

Can I combine two of these adapters so that I can:
1 - Charge my iPad Pro
2 - Charge my Apple Pencil
3 - Listen to music on my Lightning Earpods

All at the same time?

Work computer with no internet connection and no ability to load my own music.

Yeah, I know ... but I work for the government. I can't even access our ministry's own homepage from my work computer.
Yeah but that makes you like 0,0000001% of the iPhone users.....can't please them all.

I feel for you, but in that specific case a nice little MP3 player would save lots of headaches,.

When/if Apple comes out with one, it will be $79.99. Plus you have an adapter with an adapter... Lightning to this thing, to 3.5mm audio...

Which is an excellent point, and IMO goes with my post above. You're either all in on the wireless or not. Trying to make it work wired isn't reasonable.

Oh, I'm calm. Calmly enjoying my Note 7 (I'd be calmer if it wasn't the exploding model, but it'll be swapped soon enough).

Actually, it's because of the jack that I bought the Note 7, but wow, Apple is living in the stone age. The Edge Panels alone are worth leaving Apple's ecosystem. Not to mention the gorgeous screen.

Phil is right, everyone should have the courage to give the note 7 or s7 a test drive. I'll never own another iPhone.

Great! Since you are so happy, there is no reason for you to be dwelling here at MacRumors than... move along. Make sure to replace all your other Apple products so you don't have to come back here and complain about them either.

Having never tried a vanilla android, I'll take your word for that. But the Note 7 with Touchwiz is still wiping the floor with iOS. I've only had it a week, but I'm still kind of in shock about how much I was missing out on with Apple. It is just so sleek and simple to access everything compared to a grid of icons.
