So do we know if there is anyway to get the early upgrade? Also paying 50 over retail seems unfair too.
Pretty sure this is down now. Online states "not available online".
Got my email as well for a 16GB Space Gray at the Atlantic Terminal BB in Brooklyn. Probably helped that I ordered the most common 5S out there. I feel satisfied since I walked past my local Verizon store and there was a big line.
Anyone know if you have to activate in the store? I will be running over on my lunch hour and don't really want to take the time to switch things over then. My iPhone is my work phone as well and I need it up and running. The emails says to allow time for it, but can you just grab and go?
Got 64GB Gold... att West Hollywood store. They didnt offer apple care, can it be purchased at bb at pickup?

Got my email confirming ready for pickup for 23rd and 6th store in NYC. Showed up to many people being turned away for OOS. Spoke to manager who said they're having issues with preorders and that "they're coming in a truck later today". So we'll see.
About 12:10am or so.I have a feeling you and I will be competing for theVERY FEW 64 gig gold phone at weho. I purchased one too. What time did you place the order?
Just for clarification, you got an 'order ready email,' but they turned you away?
Yep. Got both the confirmation and the ready for pickup email. Just called again to confirm that "it was on a truck" and was told that UPS was bringing them another shipment by the end of the day that had my name on it. The thing I don't understand is, aren't Best Buy pickup emails sent when someone inside the store scans the pickup tag they just taped to the product?
You would think, but........ at least you've gotten an email!![]()
Yea but that email says that it's ready for immediate pickup... and it wasn't.
To get $50 off, just go to customer service and show them the unlocked price. For early upgrade price, just take it to the cell phone department of the store, show your receipt and tell them you want to upgrade. What they most likely will do is do a return on the full price and then make you repurchase it by going through the standard process. Pretty easy. I wouldn't recommend doing that today though![]()
