Best Buy - Order Online NOW! Instore Pickup Avalible!

Made it to the "Thank You" page on the 3rd attempt for my 16gb space gray 5s on AT&T! Thanks for the heads up and I'm seriously happy I got to avoid driving over to an Apple Store right now..

One question, I'm picking up from a smaller "Best Buy Mobile" location and have noticed that the opening hours listed are 10:00am.. Does anyone know if these locations will open earlier at 8:00am?
 
Lol, I was gonna be FIRE-PISSED if they were actually available at Best Buys near me, as I saw this thread about 5 minutes after I ordered from AT&T. Blessedly for my sanity, they're unavailable anywhere in either silver or gold 64GB, which are the only 2 options I'd consider. Good stuff for those of you lucky enough to grab 'em tomorrow, though! I'm jealous! :)
 
Ordered one from a local Best Buy Mobile store here... Was the only Best Buy in the area with the 5s available....

Just noticed that it says "Item in stock as of close of business yesterday" on the item page.

Here's hoping my order was placed fast enough that I was able to snag one of the phones my store actually had in stock!
 
1) all the info I see says the $50 promotion ended in February. Is that so?

2) I show the phone I want "in stock" at a local store on bestbuy.com but then it kicks me to an upgrade site that only shows iphone 5. Anyone else seeing this? Am I missing something?

It sucks that they charge $50 for unsubsidized phones. Any chance of price matching to apple?
 
Just remember folks, the first thing the Genius bar asks if you need to swap out a defective phone around a crazy launch is, "Where did you buy it?"

They give preferential treatment to Apple store customers. If your shiny new phone has problems, you may get told to take it back to Worst Buy/Radio Shart/AT$T, etc.
 
Just ordered my 32GB 5s for Verizon. I didn't see any of the leather cases or the option to add AppleCare+, will these be available in the store?
 
Loading checkout hangs after I login.

They'll probably give these to people in line anyway.

The $50 promotion was one that ran in February... you had to register your existing phone number with Best Buy during a 7 - 10 day period back in February in order to qualify for a $50 gift card if you upgraded that line any time before the end of 2013 through Best Buy.

I realized Best Buy won't do an early upgrade after only 1 year of being on a contract, you have to go to the ATT store for it. Thanks for you the help though.

Do they activate in store, or can you take it home and do everything in your own time? I'd like to go during lunchtime at work, but have to be back within an hour. I have an old unlimited plan and old sms plan and don't have time to deal with all the computer "system" errors at the store.

Otherwise I might just go Tuesday, lol, wonder if they hold reservations that long.

At the store was required for 4S.

YUp, i signed up planning to use it for this upgrade, every month i got a text message from BestBuy reminding me to use this offer

The last time I did they do activate in store but I'm sure you can decline it in favor of going back to work. I don't see why they'd say no.

And technically they should hold it until Saturday.
 
I have purchased several phones this way through Best Buy. In the morning, the sales managers have one hour before opening the store to physically pick the stock and place it at the pickup counter. Once its picked and scanned, we will all receive our confirmation receipts.

Just did this with the Moto X a moth ago. LOL.

I usually get the 64, had to get a 32, but.. If I just can't live with 32, I have awhile to swap it.

I was wondering same thing. My dad will be picking mine up and I bet he won't wait for them to set it up...but when I ordered it said "Set 30 minutes aside when you come to pick up you order so we can activate and set up your device."

I wonder if its required?

Edit: just received my confirmation email! Now it says about 45 minutes before ready to pick up email!
