Best Buy - Order Online NOW! Instore Pickup Avalible!

Ordered mine around 2:45 est , got email saying checking store inventory. My card was already charged so that seems to be a good thing

Just remember folks, the first thing the Genius bar asks if you need to swap out a defective phone around a crazy launch is, "Where did you buy it?"

They give preferential treatment to Apple store customers. If your shiny new phone has problems, you may get told to take it back to Worst Buy/Radio Shart/AT$T, etc.

You're kidding, right? I've never been asked where any of my products have been purchased from. At the end of the day, it's still an Apple product and Apple wants you to leave happy.

Ok so stock levels are being updated. Just checked the phone I purchased (64 gb grey att) and it is now only available at 1 of the 5 it was originally available at. This is encouraging!

Hell one of my friends got a charger from Apple due to the whole Shuffle charger thing and they refunded her for the bad one she got at Best Buy.

I was wondering same thing. My dad will be picking mine up and I bet he won't wait for them to set it up...but when I ordered it said "Set 30 minutes aside when you come to pick up you order so we can activate and set up your device."

I wonder if its required?

Edit: just received my confirmation email! Now it says about 45 minutes before ready to pick up email!

Its not required.

However, Drivers License, Receipt and Method of Payment (Card) is required.

Do not forget these items.

Still haven't gotten my confirmation email...

Me neither. After I hit the place order button, it took about 2 minutes for the next page to load, and then it just said " your cart is empty"
My credit card has been charged and my reward zone points that I used are no longer available so hopefully the order went through.

Yeah I forgot to check the box or whatever saying I won't be picking it up, but later on my account added him as a primary person to pick up stuff...will they let him pick it up you think?

Just tried to order a second one , and it says not available at the same store of my first, looks like the store inventory is updating

i checked a while ago and it did show that the 64gb in weho was NOT in stock, so it must have come back in stock.

also fyi, i was charged tax on 899, not 849 on the 64g gold

Confirmation.. As in your item is ready to be picked up? Or that we have received your order?

Also which location?

Just confirmation of my order. The email said the ready to pick up email would arrive in around 45 minutes.

It's the Mira Mesa store in San Diego

Over an hour and no confirmation email... although, checking my order number seems to be working...

Update: Confirmation came within seconds of writing this post. Maybe if everyone complains you'll all get yours!

I'm in the same boat.

Guess I'll go to bed and not keep waiting for it.

I'll stop by the store with a printout of my order if I never receive an email.

Unless there are employee's there picking and scanning product, and I HIGHLY doubt that, we will all receive our confirmations when they start working in the morning.
