Best Buy Pre-Order Availability

I ordered my wife a silver 128 7 and got the ready for pickup email last evening. I ordered a jet blk 128 7 for myself and no word on it. I talked to my friend who is the mobile manager at the local best buy last night and he said I had a chance as they were unloading and scanning them in at that time. He said after they were scanned then emails would go out. so I really do not think I will see mine soon. :(
Oh well I am still enjoying IOS 10 on my 6.

As long as they give me a gift cert im good with waiting.

Others got email with a delay and a gift cert for 100

Not necessarily, our stores could just be slack, I know my local store is a disorganized mess (like most are) so I'm still holding out hope despite the naysayers.
 
Are the shipping dates accurate for the in stock phones? All of them say they'll ship in 1 business day. I'm tempted to place an order for a 128GB Black 7 but I don't want to if the shipping dates are inaccurate.
 
Yea the online information is completely out of wack... claim no open box apple tvs yesterday then they would random pop up on online inventory at random stores so walked around and found an open box one to waste the money on

So I tried my luck by going to an AT&T Store in Miami. They had every model and there weren't that many people in line. I made the line and called Best Buy to cancel my order but when i got on the phone with the customer service rep she told me i wouldn't be able to buy the phone because it takes 3-5 days for att to process the request to get my upgrade eligibility back. anyway after going back and forth with the phone rep to try to see if it could be expedited I decided to ask what would be my delivery date....she said according to her system it would be November 2nd even though i had received an email the previous day saying it would be October 7!! (I pre ordered my iPhone sept 9 128gb matte black for AT&T.)

Yep, I was looking for the cheaper Nespresso to use my gift card on and Best Buy's website showed pick up available today for several different models and colors at one store, so I drive there, can't find anything, and after refreshing the page it shows all 3 models out of stock in that store. Either a large number of people suddenly got the urge to buy Nespresso machines or Best Buy's inventory management and distribution systems are just completely broken and unreliable. Now I know that Best Buy's website is never to be trusted.

I plan on going to pick up my wife's phone and hope they have a regular black one. I will trade out "with" a 100.00 gift card since I cant go to another place and get one. (because of their stupid hold placed on upgrade eligibility) :)
If not I will resort to kicking and screaming on the floor like normal.

Just got off the phone with my local best buy regarding my 7+ 256gb and they do not have any and say possibly will get in today. hope they reward us with that 100 gift card also for this issue

My Best Buy gave me the October 7th date, gonna deal with support later for my gift card. Silly to screw in store customers like that

was on chat with a rep regarding this stuff and she states that everyone who pre-ordered for in store pickup will receive a $100 gift card when picking up the phone
 
They just need to communicate and let us know one at or another, I could reserve a black + 256gb at Apple in 45 min but I don't know about my Best Buy order, am not going to bother calling customer service because they don't know jack.

How can you reserve a black +? Or do you mean for delivery in 2-3 weeks?
 
I wonder if there are ANY pluses available that were pre-ordered for in-store pickup? I preordered the matte black 256 plus and it still says it will be available today but my store doesn't open for another hour. Surely Apple shipped them so,e pluses?
 
after I went to BB and tried to pick up mine.... the guy was very rude and said, no phones... no idea when... pre-order does not guarantee availability on release day.... BS BS BS BS BS BS
this is why I always order through apple... this time they screwed up so much that I had no option.
By the way !!... my phone is 7 plus matte black 128 GB.
