after I went to BB and tried to pick up mine.... the guy was very rude and said, no phones... no idea when... pre-order does not guarantee availability on release day.... BS BS BS BS BS BS
this is why I always order through apple... this time they screwed up so much that I had no option.
By the way !!... my phone is 7 plus matte black 128 GB.

I got an email from my bestbuy store. I assume it is late and no $100 rewards either.

Just got an email from best buy saying my Black 7 plus 128 gb is ready for pickup. Live in massachusetts, but ordered from NH to avoid that juicy tax. i think I'm very lucky...

That's really good news. It's about time someone received an email from Best Buy that their iphone is ready for pick up.

FWIW, Pre-ordered my iPhone 7 Plus 128GB Matte Black 3AM ish on pre-order/release date. Got my delayed email last night with the $100 gift card, slated for Oct 7 or earlier delivery via mail (not pickup). Out of curiosity, I went on live chat, gave them my order #, name, phone number, and email. The rep told me it appears that it should be delivered within a week. Whether or not thats true, IDK, but if so.... thats great news for me.

Pretty much everything Best Buy has told me the past week has turned out to be false, so at this point, I have lost all trust and don't believe a word they say. I am confident that their systems have been programmed to lie to string customers along as long as possible so that Best Buy doesn't lose the sale. If they have to lie and tell you that your order looks like it will come next week to prevent you from canceling, you had better believe they will do it. They have and they will again.
 
Just talked to Best Buy and they told me that even though my preorder is scheduled to arrive on October 7th I should expect it to be here on Sunday hand delivered by a Best Buy employee along with a small pony for my daughter to ride on for the afternoon....SERIOUSLY GUYS ANYTHING THEY SAY IS COMPLETE ********!! Please stop believing them. Take your $100 gift cards and cancel your orders and go get in a preorder somewhere ANYWHERE else.
 
So I'm here on the east coast and the best buy here in Atlanta got no plus whatsoever and then I went across the street to AT&T and they had little to none...

No preorder, walked in and out in 15 minutes with a black matte unlocked 32gb and they matched Apple's price.

Looks like they have upped their game, never happened to me before especially getting an unlocked one release day from BB.

Yeah my Best Buy had plenty of 7's as well, shouldn't be hard for anyone to get one, especially a 32GB. I am ok with waiting until the 7th, but I want my damn gift card lol. Even an email at this point would be nice
 
Well I cancelled my order. Took an hour and a half on hold.
After standing and comparing the two models.... even though I really want that camera on the plus... it's just too big. So I went over to Verizon and got myself a Matte Black 7.
I'm happy with this. I can now say that I've still had the phone on launch since day one. It was really sad to think the little tradition I had made for myself was almost destroyed today.
Like I said before. I have no problem waiting, but this is a tradition for me(weird or not), and I enjoy it. I also think that the way Best Buy handled their customers in this situation was absolutely not ok.
They will not get a penny from me in the future. I don't take well to being lied to.
Even on the day of they kept their crap up. Not the way to treat customers.
Hopefully someone else who will enjoy the plus more gets moved closer.
 
Yea it's definitely poor how they handle things and very sad how misinformed the company is that they don't loop in the stores.. I mean the least they could do is put a sign out front stating "no 7 plus" that way those that are set on it will definitely turn around and continue their day lol
 
Went to the store to check on my preorder they had no +'S delivered but had regular 7's available for walk ins, had no idea when they would have the + and weren't helpful at all, canceled my order, never again!
 
Preordered my Iphone 7 Plus Flat Black 256 on the 9th and still shows as processing. Called customer support they said the phone will be in store today for pickup. Called the Best Buy store where I am supposed to pick up my phone I am told that they have no received any Iphone 7 Plus devices for Pre-Orders. They have received inventory for walk in customers, but the people like myself that Pre-Ordered the phone on the 9th are not going to get the phone today. The Best Buy person did not provide any additional information, and they said to try back in a few days.

This is the worst pre-ordering experience I have ever had. I was not emailed and offered a $100 gift card, I was expecting to have the phone today... I should have chose delivery if I knew this was going to happen, and then I would have an additional $100 to spend at best buy. What is this crap???
 
There may be some good news for some of us disappointed buyers...well first off I recieved the 100 email last night! Which is awesome because I don't have to have my phone right away...although...waiting stinks!! The 100 makes it so much better though...and I just checked my bb acount and it has changed from processing to preparing for shipment. It did not show that earlier today it was still processing! Soooo maybe things will start moving!!

No movement yet.. still waiting even though after receiving that email last night it say October 7th is the latest...
