Best Buy Pre-Order Availability

It's supposed to be "local time," but at this point I don't think that time point is meaningful. The stock on that system appears to be updating live (you can see models disappear throughout the day).
Does anyone know if I can buy the iPhone 7 Plus somewhere else and still get the Sprint Loyalty Credit?
I'm on Sprint iPhone Forever plan and signed up at Best Buy last year. They apply $19 every month to my statement as customer loyalty credit, which lowered my monthly handset payment to only $5. Best Buy is offering similar deals now for Sprint Leasing and I was wondering if I can buy the phone from Apple and keep the same loyalty credit.
Called Sprint and they're only willing to do $10 loyalty credit. Wonder why Sprint is not willing to match what Best Buy offers... Ugh

SO update!!! I drove to the apple store and they screwed me over by saying I couldnt add a line even if I am an authorized user....I'm so upset but hey I enjoyed the little drive but highly disappointed... lesson learned.. and i still owed a lot on my other line before I could pay it off and just upgrade....
For AT&T that is indeed the policy, only the account owner can add new lines. This is changing on Nov 5, but the current policy is in place until then.
yea that I was never told as I never had that problem walking into best buy to get a new phone with a new line and I have done that 3 times.....
Awesome!! Before your order was shipping did you also receive the $100 BB Gift Card? I also ordered my iPhone(same exact model as you for AT&T)at 3:40 AM EST that same Friday
Did you ever get a delayed email or call them and get a nov ship date?
i'm really curious about this as well! I had the same case oct 7 email notification and nov 2nd when i call best buy
Cancelled my 2 128 black +'s today and picked up the 256gb models from an Apple Store today (they didn't have the 128's).
I used the IUP reservation link that's been floating around in the forum and didn't have any issues not using IUP when I picked up the two phones. Even put one on AT&T next.
I already used the $200 Best Buy gave me for the delay and will update if I see that charge show up on my card. Canceling was easy and my two lines were immediately released from AT&T next.

I have to go through Best Buy cause only way to stay on unlimited and use next . Ughhhh

Preordered via Best Buy website @ 3am on preorder day for shipping/delivery of 7 Plus 128GB Matte Black. Got the Oct 7 email & $100 GC. The next day I live chatted a rep for more info, they looked up my info and told me it would be shipping week of 9/19. Was excited.. no activity today so I decided to call 1800 to check again (this time a new live chat rep told me they couldn't update me over chat...). Automated 1800 response told me ship date would be NOV 2nd. Pissed, I tried live chat again, this rep confirmed Nov 2nd. Cancelled on the spot over live chat. Checked eligibility tonight on Att seems like I'm eligible again so that's good. Going to take my chances w Apple in store reservations.

So do you have to cancel your BBY preorder to reserve at Apple or can you do it after you make the reservation but before you go in? I'm afraid if I cancel my preorder, I might not catch one to reserve. My current status on the 888 # is "preparing" - whatever that means. It still says "processing" on the website. I got the $100 GC and delivery by 10/7 email over the weekend for a 256 RG 7+ on ATT NEXT. I did my preorder on 9/9 for in-store pick-up.
Apple doesn't do any carrier account checks when reserving an iPhone for pickup in store. Wait to cancel BBY until you have a time to pick up.

I can't believe i was going to wait until whenever best buy decided to ship my iPhone...never again am i ordering from best buy! Thanks for the info BTW

Once you're in the store, they check your upgrade eligibility and you have to be the account owner. I have a 50% off 30gb data plan (promo they did a few years ago) plus an employee discount and I've never had any issues keeping my plan unchanged upgrading any lines on my account. Not sure about the old unlimited specifically though. They just selected the option for no account changes.
I've kept the same plan upgrading through apple in different instances with their upgrade program, AT&T next, even buying the Verizon model outright to use on AT&T.
