I suppose this is good information. I just emailed the GM of my local store, let's see if he actually responds... lol

Well the some people if not majority say there having it shipped to Best Buy for pick up. Are you guys they are seeing preparing to ship, are you having it shipped to your house. Is what a Best Buy rep on here said people that have in store pick up won't see any movement until it's received at Best Buy.
Literally...minutes after I emailed the GM I get this email. I don't think they have anything to with each other, however, I am stoked!

Yes, I'm having my iPhone 6s Plus shipped to my Home.
All GM's emails are listed on BestBuy.com under store locator.
After working at a few Best Buys, I would never call one. If the GM doesn't answer me, that is a better answer than whomever would answer the phone.
Can you tell me how you found his info? I would love to email the one at the store I preordered from and see if they have any news?
Thanks, I ask because many of us ordered after the 12th and were a bit surprised that Best Buy still had most phones in stock for pre-order and most of us, including me, didn't think we would actually see these phones.
The GM didn't reply to me. The fact my iPhone was scanned had nothing to do with my email, because it was literally seconds after, just pure coincidence.

Well I just stopped into my local Best Buy, the store where I intend to pickup tomorrow... Did my pre-order on 9/21 for 64GB, SGY, 6S Plus - ATT - new line/NEXT. The employees of course were tight lipped. They weren't even willing to check an SKU number to see if the stock they received was allocated to my pre-order. They just kept saying 'we don't know anything about our stock yet'. They're lying -- of course.
The one bit of even remotely hopeful news was that they affirmed that 'pre-orders' get in-store stock allocation BEFORE walk-in customers. I decided to 'jump ship' from ATT to BB pretty late in the game - but their online order system said AVAILABLE FOR IN STORE PICKUP 9/25. And other phones like Rose Gold did NOT have that wording on BB site... So I thought it was a sure bet.. But I'm discovering it was all just a rouse to get business... they are NOT guaranteeing ANY 6S+ for in store pickup tomorrow.. They are only guaranteeing that when one BECOMES AVAILABLE it will be at the store... What a frickin' crock! False advertising..
I'll still report there in the am and see what they have.. But I'm not holding out hope for my phone being there.. And of course I'd want ANY of you that ordered on Opening night to get your phone before me. That's only fair.

Stopped by my local mobile store this morning, my preorder was in and so were a bunch of others. Woot!!
